Constantly diving forward in Star Trek Online using Tartarus

On ground missions in STO, I'm having the issue of constantly rolling forward when I use the thumbwheel. Walk forward is currently mapped to W. If I use the keyboard to walk I don't have any problems. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and any suggestions for me to try out?
