THE ISSUE:
My keyboard is (not US layout) > Swiss/German > e.g. ends in keys G H J K L ö ä $
Synapse 4 Keyboard function does not map “ $ ” but “ ‘ ” (physical key position on US Keyboard)
If you state that it should be a symbol “ $ “ Synapse 4 maps it as SHIFT-4 (originating position on US Keyboard)
And when you play a game with this mapped key it does … SHIFT-4 not the dollar sign, and that is for keys that are withing the US keyboard spectrum, keys like ö are not mapped.
SOLTION: I dont know.
This really bugs me that anno 2025 this is still an issue.
