Razer Blade Advanced i7 9th GEN 2080max Q Overheat Question
I have had my Advanced since June and have had a lot of success with it so far and its performing well with games, apps, programs etc. However, whenever I play PUBG I get temps between 90-100celcius. I was told by Razer support NOT to undervolt but to lower a few things like settings, power processor management, etc. This has not changed temperatures on pubg. In Razer Synapse, Ive even put the fans to full cold and used a heat pad.
I guess my question is for longevity. My games are not throttling and im getting pubg on high settings at 140fps + consistently. Does anybody have a fix for this issue?

Try to disable Turbo Boost, some demanding titles would spike it to 90ish or closing 100, actually cpu isn’t the main heat it’s gpu but the gpu has bigger die and sharing the thermal inside with cpu that has smaller die ended with hot cpu temperature. Did you check average gaming temperature btw, maybe 100 is only spike max temp? On such titles I use usually balanced mode to limit the tdp for better temperature. I range my temperature within 80ish areas on cpu some titles may spiking to low 90ish. It’s with undervolting though since 2018 unlike mid 2019 isn’t factory undervolted. Other things to avoid higher temperature is to limit the FPS, going higher means extra heat so far I know. Despite limiting FPS those are how I keep my Blade free of hardware issues so far.
Still feel like you should undervolt a bit more. Stock it should be already -100mv which may be why support said not to. However most can push -130 to -140mv and you aren't hurting your laptop by trying.
The key to good temps for me is to set fans manually to max and set power profile max processor state to 99 percent. Use balanced profile in synapse. I also use the Razer stand to elevate my laptop. Temps stay mid 70s during gaming.

I have the same Laptop as you, can you tell me how much you can use it on Batterymode? Just System idle and Display at 50 %. This would interest me, because my Laptop brings only around 2 Hours on Batterymode.
I also dont play Games with Battery, but i watch sometimes movies or i use the internet. How long you can use it on battery when you use it fpr movie watching or internet?
