I hope RP1 is also on the list. I think RP1 and RP2 are quite similar. The only difference is the back camera. I'm wondering maybe it worth a try to buy it and manually cut the hole (or just ignore the back camera). Would there be any plan to support RP1 in the future?

I get an email about so much bullish from Razer, yet the one thing I been waiting for ages for gets released and I don't hear ISH! Downside seems to be a) no built in battery to charge phone while u play, and b) not portable enough to use as a case.... ...ok just ordered one - be perfect to use for moonlight game streaming!!!

Its like when they brought out those cases a couple months ago - i logged in and found they were only for iphones, oneplus's and samsungs....wtf man - i think its a disgrace. Lucky i have RP2 - but how can they suport galaxy and other makes before thye cover all their own gaming phones?? I still have my RP1 - the one with the green logo which i dont want to sell and it would be nice if this supported that so if i sold my RP2 i could still use this controller. However its looking more likely i will sell my RP1 and keep the RP2....

Don't want RP2. I love my green metallic RP1. But no support! Very very sad :frown_:

i like it too - but if you think about it now, it was really just a beta model - almost a prototype....even a novelty....they (wrongly or rightly) released it to test the water. everything that annoyed me about it was fixed in the RP2

But I have no problems with him. I don’t see the point of paying for a rp2, since there are few differences between them. If a rp3 comes out, I think I can buy it.

few differences? are you kidding? 1) The screen on the RP1 can hardly be seen in sunshine - the RP2 is so much brighter - i think almost double!! 2) wireless charging - this is not a deal-breaker but still important 3) water proof - RP2 is waterproof - just like all the other phones in 2018 were... 4) Chroma logo lighting - One of Razers signature things- this is also important as it can be used for notifications as well 5) The camera - jesus the camera on the RP1 is garbage man - the RP2 camera aint the best but its so much better than the RP1 6) Bluetooth 5.0 not 4.0 like RP1 There we have 6 MASSIVE differences between RP1 and RP2 - perhaps you were not aware of these differences and now you are.....i think now you will want the RP2 LOL

1) I have enough brightness from rp1 2) I don't need it 3) It's good, yes, but not enough for buy new phone 4) Don't like logo ligtning. I love full covered cases, without logo. 5) For me not much different. Enough RP1 with googlecam 6) Still no reason to change old to new But my question is why there is no support? The fact that the old phone is a beta version is not an answer

Hi Mate, Fair enough - though suffice to say nobody technically "needs" these things - they were all technology that was available when the RP1 was released and many found it shocking they were not included with it given it was a premium phone and was being used already on many other inferior phones. Having said that, if these things are not important enough for you to upgrade then fair enough... With regards to the lack of support, as per my original post i wholeheartedly agree with you. Razer's support given to their customers is not very good and never has been and this is just typical if you ask me.

for those who have not got a compatable phone - there are telescopic ones below which do exactly the same job as this and are universal https://www.amazon.co.uk/PG-9023-Telescopic-Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller/dp/B078Q3VDQ4/ref=sr_1_3?crid=NBSKI7ODVQ7&keywords=telescopic+bluetooth+controller&qid=1572447592&sprefix=telscopic+bluetooth,aps,142&sr=8-3 https://www.amazon.co.uk/koiiko-Controller-Telescopic-compatible-Simulator/dp/B07Q1NJJ61/ref=sr_1_6?crid=NBSKI7ODVQ7&keywords=telescopic+bluetooth+controller&qid=1572447592&sprefix=telscopic+bluetooth,aps,142&sr=8-6 https://www.amazon.co.uk/UWYSTON-Bluetooth-Controller-Wireless-Joystick-Red/dp/B07RD6XSK8/ref=sr_1_7?crid=NBSKI7ODVQ7&keywords=telescopic+bluetooth+controller&qid=1572447592&sprefix=telscopic+bluetooth,aps,142&sr=8-7 https://www.amazon.co.uk/PG-9023-Telescopic-Wireless-Bluetooth-Controller/dp/B018B8K926/ref=sr_1_15?crid=NBSKI7ODVQ7&keywords=telescopic+bluetooth+controller&qid=1572447592&sprefix=telscopic+bluetooth,aps,142&sr=8-15
For all of them, I see 2 disadvantages compared to Razer one. 1. The controller itself is large and almost can't fit into pocket. Assuming you can put the case on phone all the time, the Razer controllers are not large and could fit into pocket (or pockets). (that's how I put Switch in pockets when necessary). 2. Razer is a large brand and you can expect better support from game developers. Not all Bluetooth controllers are same and I want to take less risk. (even if you say you already have one of them and all your games support it, it wouldn't change my mind; it's just like I would my official joy-con or Nintendo certified 3rd-party, but not just and random one).

Completely agree with everything you said. I was just giving those who have not got one of the 3 supported phones other options they may not have known about...

I'm a RP1 user and I would like to see how much I could DIY to make it works for me. I really think they should support more phones from beginning.

Got some testing to do! Arrived 2 days ahead of schedule, Nice!

Any plans to expand the case list to fit a galaxy note 10 plus in the future?

So mine arrived yesterday - aint had much of a chance to try em out - this busy life we lead... however a couple of things annoying: 1) Cant charge your phone while playing games with the controllers. It strikes me that for such a heavy price tag i think the case should have included a USB C connection to the phone so that the right controller had some sort of physicall input to the phone - the benefit of this would be two-fold - a) it would be able to connect to the phone without bluetooth and b) we could charge the phone THROUGH the USB C case connection 2) The case isnt that good and doesnt serv well as an every-day case - which means it loses portability -you will have to carry the case and the 2 controllers with you if you dont want to use the case it comes with as an every-day case. One thing i noticed is the case it comes with is nowhere near as good as the carbon case i have which has a lip to protect the phone - this has no lip. 3) No hole for the RP2 chroma logo light to shine through - strikes me as an obvious oversight - cant believe they left this out I will report back with more info the more i use it
