Nari Ultimate Game/Chat balance

So i just bought a pair of Nari Ultimate, and I've found that the game/chat balance wheel is "extremely sensitive" by this i mean that moving the wheel about 10% of its travel anywhere from the center (where game and chat audio are equally balanced) will complete mute the other input, resulting in either not having chat audio or not having game audio. This makes the whole concept of having this adjustment useless, since about 90% of the travel of the wheel is unused, I'm not able "fine tune" the amount of game/chat audio that I want. Has anybody else had this problem? can it be fixed with software??
