does it work with razer usb mics and headsets through the synapse software or do you have to use an xlr mic and 3.5mm headphones through the device?
It doesn't recognize USB microphone input. If you have any USB mic, they've ever made, like the Seiren Pro, Mini, X, or headset like the Nari Wireless, Krakens, etc... The board is apparently incapable of seeing them. For "Mic Input" it ONLY sees audio for the XLR or 3.5mm ports in the mixer itself.
Support/their manual says to take a "USB-powered" microphone, plug the USB into the PC for power... Then run a 3.5mm audio lead from the mic too the front mic port in the mixer.
Let that image sink in for a minute.
I've been waiting on a response on this for three days from them with pure radio silence as their response. It's either a stunningly ridiculous oversight, a moronic design choice, or there IS a way to do it that no one seems to have figured out in support or in The recent device reviews the last week.
The mixer can see other PC audio sources like game audio, chat audio, music apps... Why on earth can it not see a USB mic the same way?
Let the buyer beware. This is a ball drop on Razer's part.

See my above reply. Short version: No, but I'm hoping it's addressable via Synapse update. My post goes into more detail here and in int Broadcasters forum.
trully a beauty, im not needing it but if i did this would be the one to get. razer always designs with style and elegance
