Hello Friend!

I've been looking all over for a way to hear my voice in my headphones, thank you!
The only issue is, I hear my voice with a slightest delay which makes me uncomfortable.
I'm pretty sure that before I updated from Win 8.1 to Win 10, it was not an issue.
Do you happen to know if there's a remedy for it?

Not possible through Synapse, since it's not an USB device.
But you can do this via Windows 10 control panel:
a. Press Windows key + X.
b. Click on Control Panel.
c. Click on Hardware and Sound.
d. Click on Sound.
e. Click on the Recording tab.
f. Right click on the Microphone and click on Listen tab.
g. Check the box next to Listen to this device if it is checked.
h. Click on Apply and OK to save and close the window.
Just got my Blackshark V2 Special Edition for addition to my Xbox Series X setup. Loving them so far! Comfy and great audio. Noice!
im having this problem where the headset will reset (turn off and then back on) whilst in a game or app and the audio is still perfect but the mic doesnt work at all even after going through each setting it still wont work unless i exit and restart the app then the mic works until it resets again this is extremely annoying when playing battle royal games is anyone else having this problem if so any fixes

Yes, but it's available only on USB headphones, not 3.5mm mini-jack.
Synapse doesn't recognise non-USB headphones.

Oh, you said the V2.. you have the V2X

Im pretty sure he is talking about MIC MONITORING... Which if it is what your talking about, you can ABSOLUTELY do it thru synapse... Just click on the "mic" tab and turn on SIDETONE.. and your done

I think the mic is a little bit bad for the v2 but it is perfect for v2x

if you plug the Mic directly into your motherboard it sounds much much better, especially if you have an Aurous motherboard with HiFi capacitors! 🙂

Does the Blackshark V2 X has voice return? When you have them on in a game with friends, can you also hear yourself?

Thanks!

Bought the special edition BlackShark V2. Love it!
Hallo.
Ich habe einen Blackshark V2 und eine Xbox Series x.
Soweit so gut.

Vielen Dank

very clean look, even no rgb which is a shocker
I noticed on the Blackshark V2 X the mic sounds better out of the box than the V2. So I figured that was because of the USB, if I use the 3.5 plug instead of the USB adapter will the mic sound better out of the box?
Note: I noticed all of this in a YT review vid, Im planning on buying this on black friday.

So I was wondering as to whether the mic monitoring on these headphones are on by default or not
I just bought the Blackshark V2 Special Edition headset. I really enjoy them. They are light weight and very comfortable. Razer products are the right choice.

Kiddo, thank you very much, I'll bother you again, but is this the case that comes in the special edition v2?
And one last question, do you recommend the v2 or v2x more for your experience.

sorry, I was wrong in the message I am Mx.

replying to ur 1st question, yes. that is the case.
to your 2nd question, I prefer v2/ v2se as the sound is better tho the mic is worse than the v2x. go for v2 if you like good sound quality

hope this helped!

A question ? I want to buy these headphones, I still can't decide which blackshar v2 / X because there is a difference of 40 dollars, but the blacksshark special edition caught my attention because they mention to bring a very cool case and it is something for which I could pay those 40 Dollars without problem, someone knows if they give you the case or it is a lie, if so I would buy the X, someone who can guide me.

thank you, good day!

Hi GaecX,
I am currently using the blackshark v2 special edition, and it does provide the case, and it has a different color for the headband thing. I will recommend you buing v2 se, cuz it is cool and it is worth it. just be reminded the mic is pretty crappy btw. otherwise perfect

Could you try both already? :eek_:

the sound card makes the v2's voice sound be like more processed and unclear. But I personally prefer using the broadcast mode and it help a bit improving it. the v2x sounds very clear and normal

Ok, I got the cushion back on and tried the headphones and they sound great. I installed 7.0 surround and it sounds great also. but it messes up any sound application I try to use. Youtube and Spotify are completely unusable, and WMP gets stuck from time to time.

This is the second instance of your software screwing with my system sound and it's very disappointing. What do I need to do to make everything work smoothly?

Do you have a sound card? e.g. Realtek?
The 'X' version says the surround sound only works on Win10 but the non 'X' version makes no statement as to the requirements for the surround feature, will it give me surround sound on my Xbox One (soon to be Series 😵 or just standard stereo sound?
