razer is in the running for my new headset purchase. the set must be durable and must be able to keep out background noise when worn. any suggestions from all of you that have great results or not so great results with your headset uses ??

I just got my Kraken Ultimate around 2 weeks ago, and all of a sudden more audio goes into the left headphone, while the right is more quiet. I tried restarting multiple times, unplugging and plugging back in the headphones, but nothing seems to work. I don't think it's a hardware problem, but rather a software one, but not certain.

I bought razer thresher wireless 7.1 over 1 year ago. Now usb reciever has a problem and it cannot connect with my PC. So i can’t use the headset. Any way to fix it? Please help me

So, I don't actually own a Razer Headset but I have purchased Razer Surround Pro and has been using it just fine. Yesterday I had to reinstall my OS and for my surprise, I can only find the installer of the new Razer 7.1 Surround Sound software, that I can't use because I don't have a serial number. The question is: shouldn't Razer Surround Pro users be able to use Razer 7.1 Surround Sound? If not, where can I purchase a serial for Razer 7.1 Surround Sound? And where can I find the installer for Razer Surround Pro in the mean time, considering I currently can't use Razer 7.1 Surround Sound at all?

So I'm probably going to get the Razer Nari headset, but I want a case for them. Of course Razer has a headset case on their site, but the description for it does not say if the Nari fits in the case. It only mentions the other models. Does anyone know if the Nari headset will fit in to the Razer Headset Case?

Hi, I have too big of a head, and a lot of headsets just plain small to me, and some other when technically "can fit" are actually really uncomfortable. This, very sadly, includes Thresher 7.1. I tried on and liked Kraken a lot, though I haven't been able identify the exact model (store used them as headset for demo gaming laptops and didn't have specific price tags on them, while those were clearly one of the Krakens (7.1, or v2, or Tournament)). I also liked Kraken X, fits well. What I cannot understand is if there is any Kraken model that supports "7.1" on PS4 Pro like Thresher 7.1 does? Are there any other Razer headset beside Thresher, wired or wireless, that support "7.1"? What does it ever mean for headset to support 7.1 on PS4 Pro?

Kraken tournament edition wont show up in synapse V2, just the rectangle thingy. Im trying to set it up in chroma studio.

Good Afternoon everyone, i bought in 2018 the Kraken Pro V2 from amazon, after more than a year browsing on internet, i've found that also my razer headset is eligible for the software surround sound, then i heard about people that found the key for the activation inside the box, while me nop. Then on and other famouse support website some people told me that the activation code not come with kraken prov 2, but i have to contact the support for obtain it. As said i've opened two ticket, one is in nw since a week, an other one, same. I would like to know if you experience the same issue, and in case how i can resovle that. I would like to avoid to change the headset again. Thank you.

I recently bought this headset however I am quite disappointed to learn that there is no way for me to mix between the in-game and voice chat volume on PS4. The volume controls located on the USB control panel just change the overall volume which includes both in-game and voice. Also if I connect the headset using the 3.5mm jack, the issue is still the same. Is there any way of solving this? Does an astro mixamp solve this? Are there any other headsets from Razer that will work?

I am racking my brain over this decision and I'm hoping to get some additional insight. I am trying to decide between the following headset, which will see use on both PC and PS4 equally: Thresher 7.1 PS4 Thresher Ultimate PS4 Nari Wireless I was considering the Thresher Ultimate, but while it comes with the base, does it also include the USB dongle? Similarly, with the Thresher 7.1 PS4, as I understand it, in order to receive the actual 7.1 Surround Sound and not just stereo, the optical cable is required to be inserted into the USB dongle? Is this also true for use with a PC or can the Thresher utilize 7.1 Surround Sound using only the USB dongle and more advanced USB drivers? Alternatively, I was looking into the Nari Wireless, but it seems like it is only able to receive stereo on PS4? So from what I can tell, but would like a second opinion/confirmation, is that each headset works for PC and PS4, but the Thresher has superior audio quality on PS4 and the Nari has superior

First for reference, I am comparing these to Zolo Libery+ and Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless. I have both and enjoy both. Battery life - I play audio (Spotify and XM Radio) for 4 hours. At 4 hours the Hammerhead true wireless were at 30%. Charging - from 30% it took ~1 hour to get a full charge (wasn't staring at the charging light to get an exact time) Game mode - Not sure about this yet. I have followed the instructions for activating it; but I hear hear any audio tone or prompt to indicate it was activated. Sound quality - very good compared to the other earbuds listed above. Overall, I am pleased with the earbuds.

Hey guys. Any1 knows if the new Razer Kraken Ultimate works for synapse 2.0 as well ? cos for Mac users synapse 3.0 is not out yet (imagine that) If this headset wont work for synapse 2.0 Razer is gonna lose millions of possible buyers that use Mac for gaming / studying or working.
