What Monitor Are You Playing On?

Hey Insiders,

Whether we’re rocking a setup ready to launch a rocket or a humble rig, we all have something in common—we need a screen to play on. With new features like the mesmerizing HDR or blazing fast refresh rate popping up every month, choosing the perfect monitor can be tough. There are now more types of panels than games available, and with the arrival of 4K and Ultra-Wide gaming, resolution is also an important factor.

So, what kind of monitor are you guys playing on? A classic 1080p 60Hz monitor? A lightning-fast 144Hz screen? Maybe a brand new 4K monitor to savor every tiny in-game detail? Or perhaps…you play on a TV. You savage.

My beloved Lenovo Y27g Razer Edition x3
Im playing on Asus RoG Swift PG348Q.
I'm using a BENQ Zowie XL2411, a 144Hz Full-HD LED Monitor.
I bought it about a year ago for around 220€ and I must say it was well worth the money.
I used to play on a 30" TV with horrible input lag, switching to a 144Hz monitor felt like a true blessing.
Of course it doesnt have nifty features like G-Sync and 4K, but honestly, I dont feel the need to spend an extra 200€ for a monitor with such features. It's simple and probably the best bang for the buck.
It definetly suits my needs.

Sadly I only have one, I might upgrade to a second monitor this year.
samsung Q7C tv for casual couch, still waiting before buying something serious, AKA Big Format Gaming Display ( 4K HDR 1000NITS 120hz gsync )
2x Philips BDM3270qp for a discount price. I know these screens aren't for gaming, but they are better than my old cheap ass BenQ. I have now good colors and less lagg

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. A standard 1080p HP 24er. No chroma, no anything.
I think it's a bless it has at least a 59mhz refresh rate.

But H e y
It's less than 120€
Samsung 55'' Q7F ( 4K/HDR/120hz )
I recently bought a 34'' Ultrawide LG 34UC79-G, IPS with 144 Hz refresh rate. Awesome monitor and the only downside is that it is 1080p (although I don't really mind as I had dual 27'' 1080p panels already and I never owned a 1440p monitor). I was set on 34'' Ultrawide curved screen, but because of limited budget, I had to make a decision between fast refresh rate or 1440p.

Personally, I think I made the right choice as difference in high refresh rate in FPS is incredible, and that huge ultrawide screen is awesome for gaming immersion. 🙂
Currently using the Acer KG251QF. TN Panel, 144Hz, 1ms response time. A pretty good monitor for the price.
Acer Aspire GX intel core I5 graphics NVIDIA Geforce GTX1060 everything is 60fps+
Hp w2007.

1600x1050 60hz

It's very old.
I'm rocking a totally great thrift-story quality Acer h203h 1600x900@60fps, and an AOC 9315wl 1366x726@60fps. I think I need to invest in a new set of monitors. These do the job, but it is not impressive.
BenQ senseye LED GL2450 monitor. I have lazy eye so this monitor is really easy on my eyes but awesome to game on 🙂

I have just upgraded from 1 UW to 2UW... thats a lot of screen!!!!

These are Samsung CF791 34" monitors!
Just added a 24" HP OMEN 1080p 144hz to compliment my ASUS 144hz 1080p monitor a few weeks ago. Absolutely loving it so far.
Userlevel 4
Still rocking my several years old (and 60Hz *gasp!*) Samsung Syncmaster 245BW @ 1920*1200. Once I finally decide on a new display, I'll give this to my mom.
Asus Rog PG279Q : 27 " 2560x1440 165Hz G-sync

Don't want to lose some FPS with 4k :D
