Omg i loveeee u, you saved my life i was really desperate

u r right blowing normally doesn’t work i tried it before, but when I really blow hard like u said it’s working 100%
“I didn’t go hard pulling and pushing the stick i think that won’t solve the problem cuz i was doing it before and nothing happened.
just pulling and pushing the stick gently while blowing hard like HARD HARD

it makes sense now considering the problem came from no where after two months of use

Thank u for sharing this with us ❤️

NP :wink_:
Yeah it will come back after x-hours of use, I tried to just "push down the stick" yesterday but it didnt help.
But it works like a charm everytime i blow-fix it. Maybe the blowing has nothing to do with the problem but it works for me, i will use it as a ritual 😃

Well, drift is back for me. After 1 day it slowly returned. Not as strong as before, but it's back.

Try a compressed air can, it's been a few days since I've done it and it's working fine till now. HOPEFULLY:wink_:
The drift will return. It's not a permanent fix sadly.

Me too.. it's LITERALLY unbelievable it's work just fine by just blow in your joysticks.. I hope it's stay like this
Get it touch in a few days
So I upgraded to 1.02 and blew air in the joysticks and almost have no issues anymore. I play on cable btw.

Agree, I can't imagine what can be programmatically fixed on firmware code that is fixing by blowing on the stick... It is definitely some hardware root cause.

as a programmer who have written code for hardware, it could be that after pressing the analog sticks down which is registered as pressing a button all variables that may have gotten out of memory may get their initial value again. Blowing might have not got anything to do with it and tbh i dont think it does, if it did it would have to be some cooling down of a part. Also see it this way, it doesnt have an external sensor like an eye or a lazer or something so dust cant really affect it, if we open our pc's right now do u know how much dust we will find? And lets say that it was dust, which wasnt, dont u think it would have been gone by now?

As mentioned by others, I don't believe stick drifting has anything to do with the firmware version, but rather a hardware issue. Many, myself included, have had luck blowing into the base of the stick while rotating and pushing it, either with your mouth, or as I did with compressed air. It worked for me.

wow thank you for this thread all my problem Razer TE fixed i am on 1,03 now and everyyhing going well so far

Im intrested if the 1.03 firmware fixes the drift without the "blowing-fix", im on 1.01 using the blowing fix and it works fine, just need to "blow" every couple of hours or so. If 1.03 firmware works as a charm for people i'll upgrade aswell. Just had this problem for so long, dont want to make it bad again 🙂
Got my hands on the 1.03 firmware for my raiju ultimate. Used the bootloader method. Testing it as we speak. So far, so good.

Worked for me as well wit UE. You should get a reward from Razer for this mate.

Glad it worked out for you 🙂 Yeah something would be nice, even a "thanks". But im not expecting anything 😃

So i had the same problems as everyone else with my controller from start, and updating it just made it worse.
few days ago i got so mad after getting killed in blackout because of the drift that i simply pushed down the right stick and blew my life into the controller, and i also pulled and pushed the sticks up and down in the socket.
Havent had any drift since then, my guess is that there is somekind of dust inside from production, making the sensors inside the controller go wild?

This worked for me, and i hope that is working for at least some of you.

1. push down the sticks and blow hard into the sockets
2. pull and push the sticks in/out of the sockets ( i was mad so i did it really hard, be careful 😃 )

Hope it helps!

Edit: i did not have the beta firmware installed

Good work! Let us know how it performs as I’ll likely try this tomorrow.

By putting the controller into bootloaded mode we can put the v1.01 again into the controller, i connected it to the pc, pressed the up arrow on the D pad along with X for 10-20 seconds and it went completely blank, responded to nothing, then i loaded the v1.01 installer and now it has the previous version again. So we can use the v1.03 and see for ourselves what it fixes and what it doesnt.

Why didn't the support from razer told us this ? Why do they insist that we should RMA the controller instead of doing this ?

i actually have no idea, i can guess they didnt know either like we didnt
