Yeah, it's a great initiative actually.
I want to apply but maybe I'm not qualified.
I wonder if there will be a tech support aspect of it since the users of the gear are most likely to know what common issues new users are having.
Are the application valid for EU members as well?
I'm a co-founder of an eSport school called Paris Gaming School, will that pose a problem?

The Vanguards are now in Open Recruitment.

The Vanguards are Razer's Elite Community Strike Team, Super Users, Brand Ambassadors and Insider Mods. If you want to take your Insider status to the next level and help us elevate the Razer brand and be more involved with Razer, this is your chance.

All you have to do is fill out this application form to get started.

http://rzr.to/vgapp

Before you begin, please be sure to have your Razer ID's Linked to Insider.

/how-to-link-your-razer-id-to-razer-insider.1904/

Also, be sure to have an Insider name picked out for yourself and a fully fleshed out profile. Please don't use the default name that Insider gives you, those names are meant to be temporary! No identity crises, please!

Once you fill out and submit the form, we'll review your application and determine if there's a place for you in the Vanguards program.

There really isn't a single set of parameters that constitute a guaranteed spot. We're looking for a well-rounded group of Razer fans to help us bring Razer to a new level of community engagement and brand advocacy.

Our goal is to be more than just a community forum for Razer fans. We want to be a voice in the gaming community, make noise in the industry and represent the best gaming lifestyle brand there is.

For Gamers, By Gamers.

Go for Razer Systems, shoot me on my chroma face:cool_:
A quick question, how old do you have to be to become a vanguard?

Personally, I'll be very interested to see who chooses to apply to join us!!

We have a great time doing our jobs with Razer, but above all else you need to remember that if you take this path then it's all for the community and trying to ensure that others learn to love Razer as much as you do. It really shouldn't be a choice just because you think it'll have advantages or because you can do moderator actions. Always have the community's best interest at heart. ❤️

I'm super interested, and applied, but my heart kind of sank at the last 2 questions: the ones that ask if you're willing and able to travel (at own expense) to volunteer or help out with various events. I'm definitely willing, but not able to take work off to do that sort of thing (no matter how much I would love it). We just bought a house here in Australia, and with work and raising two very young children, taking unpaid leave to volunteer or do events for Razer is the stuff that divorce is made of.

I have a feeling I'll get passed over this time. It's not going to stop me from talking about Razer to everybody in my life, though!

LOL - I can't help it, the way you phrased this really made me laugh. :big_grin_::big_grin_:

One of the reasons I'm so excited about this whole program is because it's evolved so much since we were first brought in to just be mods. Back then we didn't even know if the forum would survive, let alone needing mods. The fact that the program has grown so much since then is absolutely wonderful.

It does sound pretty fun. The travel thing is a good excuse for me to get to some new cities. But, it has been cool to watch the community grow
i really love the idea of this, its really creative!!

Can we have an idea of when you'll answer if people are retained or not ?
What are the advantages?

What are the advantages?

Knowing that you're helping out your fellow Razer fans, occasionally know about new products a little sooner if they want player input but mostly, again, just knowing that you're helping out and doing what you can for the community.

Well said.

Too many people are always expecting things such as freebies and discounts and the like for just being friendly and helpful but that should never be the case.
wanted to be a help of Razer but i'm not sure i will be able to , so i will pass .. hahaha

Applied. Not sure whether I would get it but I would like to tell the related authority since there are no further explanation option in the form ( I think it is made with Google Form based on the UI) that I would like to be one despite of being a teacher binded to Malaysia government so I could not really take long leave and fly to America if there is event there. However, I can attend the live stream like the one Razer Min Liang did frequently on his Twitter account after my work at night and even take short leave during school days and fly to places in Malaysia if Razer held event here.
I hope I get in. I love the brand razer.
