What would you like to see next from Razer? | Razer Insider

As we're closing off the year and prepping for the new one, I'd love to hear from the community what new products you'd like to see in 2015. Let me know in the comments below!
What I'd like to see:

1. Orbweaver Chroma

2. AFFORDABLE 4k Monitor would be awesome (1440p G-Sync would be cool too)

3. Razer Blade with new Maxwell architecture (900M Series)

3.5 Razer Blade with M.2

4. Razer Phone would be sick (Synapse through the phone)

5. Razer OS? Linux based like Steam OS but Razer Cortex OS

6. Razer Goliathus in more colors to match the Chroma series and more builds

7. Razer Sabertooh PS4 Edition =D

8. Razer Graphics Card coolers. Windforce cards look cool, Strix is slick and sexy, but a Razer Graphics Card would make any gamer wet their pants

9. Razer mother boards. Same as above, only mother boards

10. A higher inventory of items. Wanted to buy the Seiren when it came out, but it was always sold out. Since then I needed to purchase items for my Fiance and our child. Priorities. Items need to be more readily available for when a consumer wants to buy them, especially given the prices. I'm not saying shit out products, but I would like to see them more available.
Well I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I have always loved ergonomic keyboards. If Razer made a ergonomic keyboard I would absolutely buy it! With all the bells and whistles of your other gaming keyboards too, and I would be one very happy customer. I have found over the years as a graphic artist, and laying out a lot of typed copy, I truly find the sloped design and position of my hands on an ergonomic keyboard to be very comfortable, easy to type with (yes, it takes some time getting used to, but once you touch-type you'll be flying through chat conversations etc.; typing is such an invaluable skill nowadays) and the ergonomic keyboard style is excellent for gaming!

Thanks for listening! 🙂
Since this thread is still going...

- An updated Razer Edge

- A G19-esque mechanical keyboard, though I'm guessing Razer doesn't have the size to pull off something like the dancing CL4TP-TP that Borderlands shows on the G19 when playing

- A Razer Blade Pro that has two internal m.2 or mSATA slots and fills the 2.5" bay space with battery

- Integrated wireless support for all Razer peripherals on Razer systems. I would like to be able to use Razer's wireless mice with my Blade or Edge without being restricted to the Orochi.
Web Cam for Streaming, awesomely awesome flight stick, new Mamba, and definitely a new Lycosa.
Specs/eyewear for gamers, those with the UV/radiation protection, whatever (yeah I used the gamer term to incorporate it) lol sorry I'm a gears' section addict.

I saw this Hatsune Miku specs and it has the Vocaloid feel in it even though it's just an ordinary specs with turquoise frame. I would want to see a Razer version with the awesome steel emblem in it.
A smartband with a screen to show your your messages.

Mabe you can call it razer nabu
how about the nabu? 😣

what's even the current status on it? lost in time and space? :(

Could unfortunately not keep track for the last few months
1. A new gaming tablet 10.1in 1080p w/ GTX 970m-980m

2. Orbweaver chroma

3. Xbox one Razer edition controller
I really want a tenless key Deathstalker Keyboard for my desktop.
reloader-1
Even better, make this a bluetooth keyboard - could be used for the Blade or Edge.

You know what kills me is every time I look at the Razer Turret. If that could release that with out the Lapboard I would buy it in a heart beat... even if it still had a cord. Of course I'm not 100% sure how well the Deathstalker sold.
With all the new ambitious developments from Razer that are mostly 'non-gaming' (ex: the nabu) it would be cool if Razer could take on the challenge of making a phone.
I've always wanted case fans for my desktop with the quality of Razer. With Chroma at hand, you could make fans with LEDs that reach all 16 million colors and a 5.25 inch bay fan controller linked with Synapse to manage the fans. The fans could have interchangeable cords so they could be used like normal fans when the controller is not present. And you could whip out your patented Rethink Efficiency Machine and create a way to blow away the competition with unrivaled air flow performance.

The fan controller could be a full LCD touch screen with, say, 20 fan ports using the proper connectors. It could be used with the LCD screen, or within Synapse to monitor and change settings. When the LCD screen is not in use, it could display a Chroma Razer Logo that can be synced along with all Chroma devices, or display an image chosen and positioned by the user. The on-screen UI could consist of a Chroma color wheel on the far left that serves as a button to open a color palet, and to the right of the wheel would be the list of fans that scrolls horizontally and lists the fan speed under a fan image that has the fan number in the center. Each fan item in the list would be the color (or color scheme) assigned to the fan.

This is the biggest struggle for me as a PC enthusiast, because my setup MUST be color coordinated. The lack of such a fan system makes color coordination less than pleasant. Do it for gamers!!!

Why not chroma....

"Chroma everrrryyyythinnggggggggg MUHAHAHAHAHA"

(Min Liang Tan's mind)
Advanced Tmay
what If along with that Razer made a water cooling system to go with it? with green coloured tubes, or chroma?! (i don't think thats possible haha)

Chroma tubes could happen if they were dual layered, white, and slightly transparent with LED strips ran between the two layers. C: It would have to be done right though, because it would be easy for that to look tacky. Lol
I'm still waiting Razer Comms for iOS 😞
A DXRacer chair with Razer branding.
I would like to see a nice mouse bungee with usb ports a hub. USB that is uses the onboard usb header. Would be a nice desk ornament with chroma. Made post a while ago /updated-mouse-bungee.5875/ Sharkoon kinda hit that spot i would like to see but it just doesn't go with desk full of razer ^^ http://www.sharkoon.com/?q=en/node/2745

Cheers.
I love razer products and they seem to have everything covered decently, but what about an affordable laptop? All of the laptops are over one grand.

Most of the people razer is trying to target are college and high school students.

If a highscooler has a grand to spend on a laptop then I am going to send a swat team over to their house to check for contraband.

So what about a 500$ laptop and a student discount that will cover home schoolers.
Wireless headsets with same features than kraken 7.1
1) I'd like to see another mechanical keyboard added to the lineup besides the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow Chroma is my current keyboard and it's great but I kinda want to see a mechanical keyboard from Razer with dedicated media keys or at the very least a volume knob. A detachable or built in wrist rest similar to the Deathstalker line would be nice too as the one on the wrist rest on the Blackwidow is too small for some people to be 100% effective. If you make one similar to the look of the Razer Kraken Forged color scheme with the Razer logo engraved in silver on the keyboard that would look amazing.

2) No more glossy surfaces on any of the products please, it just scratches too easily. For example the plastic piece that covers the Razer logo on the Blackwidow line, anything but a soft microfiber cloth will leave an ugly scratch across the bottom centerpiece of the keyboard or at least change the material to something such as a hard glass that won't scratch nearly as easily. Here's a picture I found online, my keyboard is nowhere near as scratched but it gives an idea of how the Razer logo can be scratched if you're not extremely careful. Considering this is the centerpiece of the keyboard which instantly attracts attention, something should be changed:

3) Redesign the Kraken ear cups for those us with big ears 😉 an oval shape would be more comfortable especially for those that wear glasses. Also while on headsets, I think you should change the color of the words "Razer" or simply remove it completely on the Chroma ones since the green text kind of clashes with the RGB lighting.

4) Smaller version of the Deathadder for those with feminine hands 😞 I can dream, can't I?

5) Tournament edition of the Naga at about $70-80 would be great too, since the current wireless one losses the ability to light up the Razer logo due to the battery I believe. That way those who don't need the wireless capability can save money and have everything light up similar to the Mamba TE. Offering the Naga with a choice of a high end optical sensor or a laser sensor would be a nice addition too for those that don't like built in acceleration.

My exact sentiments. Glad I wasn't only the one irritated by glossy materials on tech.

They should also change the function keys on the BlackWidow line. I just can't understand the white print when the DeathStalker has all of the prints transparent. It ruins the look of the keyboard with or without the lighting.

Also, they should scrap the cloth interior of the headbands. It just won't work. I'll accumulate dirt and sweat easier. It'll be easier to wipe it down or even clean it if it's made of leatherette. It won't believe it's about costs or to distinguish the Kraken line. It's a total slap to the face since all the other headsets have leatherette even the Kraken USB.
A new 2016 Razer Blade with 6th gen processor, a 970m or 980m, 2 M.2 ssd slots, and full sized up and down keys! A 4k or QHD G-sync screen on the laptop would be a nice addition too.

I would personally like to see another tablet like the Razer Edge Pro from 2013. When I first heard about this (too late to buy one) I thought it was a really good idea.
A DIY chroma kit would be great. If that ever happens, it should be able to interface to the PC with USB and then have connectors to other types of lights like the ones DJs use.

That'd be sick.
Yep, another request for monitors...
