Xbox Charging Dock - Blinking Light
Hey everyone I wanted to get some feedback on an issue I've been having. I recently bought the Xbox charging dock and right out the box, when I placed the controller down it started to rapidly blink orange. I've looked over the manual and it only says "Solid orange light = charging & Solid white light = fully charged". I know when most things blink it means that something isn't working so I assumed that there's something wrong with the dock. I tried to look online but couldn't find anyone else with this problem. I also have this separate issue where after turning into a white light meaning fully charged, it'll randomly go back to orange even if I leave it on the dock. Anyone have any ideas?

I think make cheap is a trend with is company they are first to market I just hope that with ideations they get better I think this company will some don't and they die like a quick cash grab but what makes me sketchy about the hole thing is when a company calls them selfs gaming it's like a excuse to make takie eggy garbage with little to know quality control if I wanted my headphones to look cool I'm a gamer I know how to use paint and clear apoxy if anything your just making stuff if I really fell in love with I couldn't do much with not a big deal I haven't had headphones I liked as much as my phone or hoody in years
Seiyusa blinking orange light indicates a problem charging the battery try plugging it into a different power source ... directly into the power usb extenders razer headset stands ect between the charge dock and power seem to cause this to happen however the switching indicates an issue with the battery itself so it might have been damaged by the power issue and most likely needs replaced

Same here, just got mine, same color as yours, and same blinking orange light, so I dont know if I need to change it or is "normal" the orange blinking light...
Posting as it may help someone.
Mine turned out to be the cable.
I have 2 of these, one for each of my 2 controllers, so I was able to swap everything round between them to narrow it down.
The LED on my razer charging dock never turns white, it always stays orange, even if the controller is fully loaded. What's up with that??
I plugged it into an iphone usb-charger...
I just got mine in today and it's blinking fast orange right out of the box, even without the controller being on it.
same here, sometimes it blinks orange very fast, just out of the blue.
I tried pluggig it in the Xbox Series X directly, but the same results.
It is never loading completely, I can see that, the battery symbol in the dashboard never shows "full", its always like 80% full, not more.
Thinking of bringing it back... it's sad, cause I have the 20 year xbox edition and that one is not really available anymore and sold out everywhere.
I found this thread and I’m having this problem as well , I don’t know what cause it to do that and I just brought one today brand new out of box
Not sure when they'll lock this thread but I never found a solution. I did everything from changing the cable, sending it back, getting a different controller and while getting a different controller did work for a couple days, it went back to the blinking lights. The controller still charges though so I just accepted it and put a tape of the light as it's a little distracting.
SeiyusIt flashing orange then after while solid white then goes back to orange like not fully charge , must be bad one or something wrong with it .. gonna return it to get another one or til they solution to this problem although Xbox series x has no battery percentage to til it if it fully charged , Thanks for post

funny enough, after a few loading-cycles my dockingstation seems to works as intended now. o_O hopefully it stays that way...
