Weird Fan noise at low rpm Razer Blade 15 Base

I actually start to hate my laptop. My guarantee ran out about 3 months ago. Last month, my SSD broke. I have third-partner insurance but I needed the laptop at that time and the 128GB SSD was very small so I decided to by myself a 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS. It was 117€ but that was worth it and I was happy with the laptop again. But today I noticed some very weird noise from one of my fans while playing Minecraft. I turned it off because I was scared and after 10 minutes I turned it on again. I didn't notice the noise anymore so I tried increasing the fan speed via Razer Synapse and turns out, the fan runs just fine. After I stopped testing, I put the fan mode on auto again. An on very low rpm, the noise is still there. I don't know what the issue is and the fan seems to work as usual. I am finally coming to my point, I really love my laptop but some tiring things happened lately. In the first year of the warranty period, everything was just fine.

1st thing - I'd clean the fans, maybe some dust is blocked causing fan weird noises.

I would definitely take a look at the fan first. It might be full of dust and causing it to struggle during low rpm mode. Since the fans are on the bottom it's super easy for these to get gunked up pretty quickly.

I wouldn't worry about it unless the fans stop spinning completely, or the laptop overheats shuts itself down. Only have owned this for 1 full day so far but the fans on my Razer Blade sound "weird" compared to any desktop or laptop I've owned in the past, yet they're still doing their intended job. I'm sure the sound we think is weird is actually normal for the design

I returned two Blades having rattling fans at low rpm. So in my opinion there's a qualitiy issue regarding the fans.

So many new members who say they have returned their laptops after a few hours or days? Hm....:eek_:

So the slight grinding noise is more likely due to a worn ball bearing. You notice it more with slight rotations than with higher rotations. But it could also be a dirty fan. If the red blades are heavier due to dirt, this could also be an irregularity. In any case remove the fan and clean it properly with ethanol and compressed air.

That's an issue as well. For removing the fans you have to remove the whole heatpipe and do a repasting afterward. As much as I like the look and feel if the razer blades... Some issues keep me away from keeping one.
Just see my recently bought Blade 17's backlight bleed... That's not acceptable for a 2.5k machine!

Ok, I did not have a 17" device from Razer yet. But if it should be the same, with the 13", I think, you don't notice that in everyday life. But your concerns @doctorfaust I can understand.

You mean the screen bleeding? Sure, you will see it every time there's some black colour at the background. This is even noticable at the windows task bar.
