I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the different keyboard brands and types. The switches also confuse me, what are the differences? If anyone has an idea what the best razer keyboard is, I would be super thankful.
Hello, i need help here. My keyboard a and q doenst work after synapse 2 update, if i press Q nothing happen if i press A it randomly pressing another button. already tried uninstaling and instaling synapse 2/3 then changing pc also hard resetting the keyboard but, the problem persist.
High so I love my chroma v2 and love the keys I got the Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro but my issue was the keys I hated how high they were and if you put a gram of pressure they would click in. So I'm asking what other razer keyboards are like the chroma where the keys are low and need some pressure to go in, btw I'm new to PC gaming so I'm completely Naive in this space, thanks for the help ahead of time.
Hello, I’ve some problems with my keyboard. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330 Ryzen 5 laptop that I purchased a couple of years ago and it does not store the L, K & spacebar keys while writing on documents. I’ve to press those keys several times for it to work. I am a little bit confused, is it a mechanical problem? Or a software issue? Should I need to replace my keyboard? I am unable to fix the issue. Tried keyboardtester.org but not getting any help. Any help should be appreciated.
So I posted here a while back about how my keyboard lights under some keys quit working. Now it seems I have keys themselves that dont work without either hitting them a few times or seriously heavy application of force. Mostly hitting them again and again, key, media keys, z key, even the windows key seems router login to be going. Customer service gave me the rundown of use with and without the software, reinstall software etc, and how since I dont have the recipte anymore they cant RMA. So my question to you all is have many of you had these issues? I used an old Saitek for almost 12 years until it died, and this has me wondering if mechanicals inherently die faster.
is there any razer keyboard permanent/long run product function support razer synapse 2?
Hi, I got me a Razer Cynosa v2 keyboard. The backlighting behind the keys is blinding me. I was hoping I could turn the backlighting between the keys off, so that only the keys (letters, symbols, etc.) would light up, like on my Logitech keyboards, but I can't find such a setting neither in Synaspe nor Chroma Studio. Is it even possible to change that ? I'd like the keys to be lighted but not to have any lighting bleeding between the keys. I've tried reducing the light intensity overall, but the light seeping between the keys is always stronger that the lighting on the keys themselves, so I am even more blinded at lower intensity. :) https://i.postimg.cc/sgbk6M71/20220915-073812.png From top to bottom, Razer Cynosa, Logitech G815, Logitech G213. I'd like the Cynosa to look closer to the G213 at the bottom but with per key coloring (the G213 only has 5 color zones). But with all the color bleeding from below the keys, I can barely see individual key colors. For instance here I've
Hi Recently I have bought a razer keyboard, and am using synapse software, I cannot use Ctrl + Tab to switch tabs in the browser anymore (Microsoft Edge). But all the non-razer keyboard works. Any thoughts :frown_::frown_: Thank you
Due to not having arrow keys, would it be possible to have a tap function added. It can be annoying having to press FN and IJKL. I also have a Anne Pro 2 60% keyboard that has tap keys. Shift, FN, Menu, & Ctrl function as the arrow keys when tapped.
Hey all, I am sure this has been discussed, but I am not able to find a for sure answer... I just refreshed my desktop setup thanks to an allowance from work. I went with the Deathstalker V2 Pro for my daily as I need the 10-key. I really like that I can run it wired, but still have the detachable cable. I was really hoping to see a full sized Hunstman with a detachable cable, but this works all the same. The reason I am here though is that I am looking for something to use when I am not working and want a minimalist setup. For gaming I am planning on going with the Huntsman V2 TKL, but for the weekend / casual stuff I was thinking that a 60% would look great as it is super minimal. The only hesitation that I have is that it is not listed as a V2 on the site and there is not a mention of sound dampening foam on the product page. So my question here is how can I tell (without taking it all apart) if the board has the V2 dampened switches and the dampening foam? I would assume that
TL;DR AT THE BOTTOM For starters, I've been using the Tartarus v2 Pro for about half a year now, and before I've used the Orbweaver for a couple years and I enjoy using both of them. I use it mainly for games, but I can see myself using it for art/design programs for quick actions and a versatile alternative to art-specific one-handed devices like the Tourbox. Keep in mind that I pair the keypad with a mouse with multiple keys (currently the Logitech Hero) to make the most out of the experience and not have to rely on reaching to the keyboard for anything other than typing. With the Orbweaver, the supposed spacebar was very flimsy and didn't feel good to use, so I opted to use the Esc/Alt key instead which ironically felt nicer to use as a spacebar although required a press inward opposed to the more natural tap down motion typical with regular keyboards along with not having immediate access to the joystick if needed. It was a fine alternative, but I was hoping Razer would reevalua
Just realized my Blackwidow V3 Pro was wired all day and saw the % of charging, got stuck in 2%. Now it's 5% after 4 hrs of charging. Something is wrong here. Already tried reinstalling synapse, changing the razer USB c cable, and trying a different computer. Same results. What else can be happening?
I have searched online but haven't been able to fins the answer for this. Is the key caps on the blackwidow V3 TKL removable? I want to remove all the keycaps and dip them in some isopropyl alcohol and then clean the keyboard before putting them back on again
Hi, I just replaced my trusty Deathstalker with the Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL. However, I've been getting repetitive strain injury (*RSI) from using it. Mostly pain in my left hand, but also my right. I am 6ft, size medium everything and in good health with no injuries. I use it for about 10 hours a day for work and gaming (I'm a software architect and game daily). I have a large office with a 2m wide electric sit-stand desk, a very adjustable ergonomic chair, 3x height adjustable monitors, huge Linus Desk Pad, and the whole set up was professionally set up by my health and safety team who first consulted with my Physio. The keyboard is in the correct place and I have a wireless mouse (Razer Basilisk ultimate with dock) so it's not the mouse. In short - I know it's the keyboard, it's the only thing that's changed. I've bought the Razer TKL wrist rest thinking that would help, but it didn't. It's very soft which feels nice at first, but the foam is so thin, you can feel the plastic at
I’m buying my first razer mechanical keyboard after using the cynosa chroma for a while. I was looking at the blackwidow elite and I’m just curious if their are any other options in that price range. Thanks in advance!
Hi folks, I was running a stand at a local games show and someone 'borrowed' one of the keys off my Tartarus Pro It's the 20/Space key. I'm probably not looking properly but I can't see spare keys on the Razer site - Given it's a current product I'm sure these must be available - if someone could link me to the right place I would be truly grateful! I'm based in the UK if it makes a difference. Best wishes Steve
Hey there, so I have a Blackwidow V2 and I really love it. Unfortunately, a few months ago I spilled a little bit of water on the keyboard. I unplugged it, left it upside down for a night and it's (luckily) been working mostly fine. However, over the past couple weeks I have been having problems with the 'N' key repeating itself or sometimes not registering at all. I've tried pretty much everything and nothing has worked so I imagine this is just a result of the water damage. So I'm looking to get a new keyboard from Razer, probably a Huntsman, as I've heard that there is something inn the design of their switches where it won't double press keys (but I'm not sure if its the Elite https://9apps.ooo/, V2, the Linear or Clicky optical switch) but then after doing some research I actually saw a lot of people having key chattering a few months or even a year after getting the keyboard which makes me nervous. So my questions are: Do you own the Huntsman, and do you like it over other keyb
It seems this infamous issue has not been met with its deserving attention for Razer to take responsible actions for years. As the other older posts are mostly no longer open, here is another resurrection of the growling call for positive change for user experience, technical inconsistency, false advertising, business integrity, and more. In the simplest, Razer Synapse 3 interface states, next to the settings for lighting, "Quick effects are presets that can besaved to a device's profile and synced with other supported Razer Chroma-enabled devices". So far, according to personal experience, I can testify that the BlackWidow Elite (2020.08) RGB keyboard, which allows 4 on-board memory profiles, and the Basilisk V2 (2021.11) Wired RGB mouse, which allows 4 on-board memory profiles and 1 hybrid profile (for latest used profile), still do not save Lighting Quick Effects (E.g. single static colour) to any on-board memory by Razer Synapse 3 of various versions that are released during 20
Slim. Clicky. Ergonomic. Meet the new Razer Ornata V3 powered by Razer Chroma RGB, designed with Razer Mecha-membrane switches and low-profile ergonomics that will carry you through long hours of gaming. https://rzr.to/ornatav3 Enjoy both work and play on this hybrid keyboard with a new slim form factor, super durable UV-coated keycaps and a magnetic wrist rest.
I've looked for this but can't see it anywhere, maybe that's because it doesn't. My problem is, I love the Tartarusv2, BUT, it doesn't have onboard storage/hybrid storage, and when I use the Tartarus I want to use it on my xbox via an adapter, so it wont have a connection back to the mothership to retain all of the settings, and I read on this forum (from a staff member) this is because it needs to have onboard storage/hybrid storage to support being used away from a PC and retain its settings. So the question is, does the Tartarus Pro have it? (or even the orbweaver!) I could then hopefully use it with my xbox. The tartarus is so close to being brilliant.
I had a Razer keyboard many years ago, which did not work well. It had a touch panel for the media keys, which kept getting pushed out of the connector by the keyboard chassis, so it never worked properly. How do people find them now? They look much better from the specs and pictures, so I was curious.
Hi, Will there be a version of the deathstalker v2 pro with purple (Clicky) switches? I saw it on official website but i can't find it on any retail store. Does anyone see it? Thanks.
Is it true that the secondary symbols of the numeric row of the keyboard come without LED lighting, in the Spanish keyboard version?
So I’m looking for a new mechanical keyboard and found a Razer Ornata V2 (I know it’s not mechanical) but a friend told me that their switches suck compared to Cherry. What do you guys think 10.0.0.0.1? I’m between a Razer Ornata V2 and an XPG Summoner Cherry Blue.
I have a Huntsman Elite keyboard and the volume wheel has been acting up for a while now. Read other forums, and updated the firmware to the latest (as of today) but it still randomly skips around. I tried killing every Razer program I could find in Task Manager, with very little improvement.
