Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone got an answer to this. So a couple of weeks ago, I sadly spilled something on my about a year old Razer Huntsman Elite Keyboard. I managed to clean up everything and make the affected keys work again. However the Volume wheel is still a tiny bit sticky during rotating, does anyone have an idea how to clean it? Is there a way to maybe detach it? I tried pulling a little, but I didnt want to use too much force since it might be glued on and just pooring a little water over it, doesnt seem like a good solution even if i could leave and not use it for a few days... any experience or tips? The keyboard is the full Huntsman Elite with keypad and everything. Any help is appreciated.

None of the Hyperspeed wireless keyboards have Optical Switch options but wondering if that is something in horizon?

razer synapse must be running to use this function.this function is not stored as a part of any on-board memory profiles ..... how i can fix this pls someone help ?

I can't see any way to turn off the logo without turning off all the lighting, which rather defeats the point Am I missing something?

Did the Synapse 3 software correct the V2 D-pad problem? I use a third party software with no problems. The sticking problem is software related.

I own a Razer Blade 14 - 3070 model. I love that I can use Hypershift to assign my own key bindings to any key while in Hypershift and that those key bindings are independent of the FN key bindings for things like volume, screen brightness etc. I bought a Blackwidow V3 Mini Hyperspeed so that I could perform the same bindings on my desktop keyboard set up and was pretty disappointed to see that while the Blade 14 keyboard has different bindings while holding the FN and a hyperspeed key, the Blackwidow does NOT! I'd really like to see this changed. For example, I'm used to rebinding HJKL to the arrow key functions (VIM code navigating), but many of the keys I'd like to bind are reserved on the Blackwidow hyperspeed. Please made the FN key bindings and the Hyperspeed bindings independent of one another! Thanks!

Hello all, New to the wireless keyboard , I got the wireless BW V3 pro, and i set my chroma up to where i had certain keys light up certain colors.. I also have it set up with matching colors and keys on my Tartus like this. Keyboard was working fine for about a week but now when synapse starts the keyboard goes black but the Tartus stays like it supposed to.. and the only way i can get the keyboard to light up at all is to Shut Synapse apps down completely then i just starts that random light show on both of them.. Any advice pls ? and thanks

Hi all I got my razer ornata v2 4 months ago and now it has fat input delay im using a logitech g502 hero and that has no input delay but my keyboard has heaps constantly and it only has input delay when i play games please help

Windows 10 21H1 only, reverting back to 20H2 fixes the problem. I've tested it also by logging in without the keyboard plugged in, and my desktop loads smoothly. Restarting the PC while the keyboard is plugged in slows down the startup because the keyboard is crashing explorer.exe. I've tried it also with Synapse on startup, and off. Problem still applies either way, as long as the keyboard is plugged in during startup. Might be a firmware problem? Is there any update for this keyboard to make it compatible with 21H1?

Hello, I recently bought a Blackwidow V3 mini but I can't control the lighting effects when the keyboard is connected through Bluetooth. I set the lighting effects to static white and saved the profile to the keyboard. This works on both USB and Hyperspeed. Though when connect through Bluetooth the LEDs stay cycling though all colors. Even keyboard shortcuts to turn effect off of change effect does not work. e.g. Fn + CTRL + 0 Thank you in advance

Hello, maybe someone can help me in my problem. I would like to map the keyboard keys, but the software won't let me do it. I have huntsman tournament edition, since the synapse it won't let me. As an example: The 2 key will write 2 and the (shilft + 2) key will write @ as the second option. Here is the problem, I would like to map the keys so that for example my key '' 2 '' writes when combined with shift @ but if I combine it with alt write #. That way it would stay ... 2 = 2 shift + 2 = @ alt + 2 = # This is an example to be able to configure, because really the keys that I want to map are not those. On the other hand I have problems to put macros in FN, but I get that research, but if you know of any tutorial it would be fantastic. Finally, thank you for the help. and being it for my english

im trying to clean my Keyboard out and i have no clue in how to clean out my "Razer Ornata Chroma Gaming Keyboard" and what to even do for that mater when it comes to cleaning it out. it gotten into the heart of the board so some keys dont work while others stick together. for 85 bucks i want to do my best to clean this out. its not like a cheap China amazon board for 30 bucks.. tho i dont know if theres a pro i can go to that would clean out the keyboard on its own. u can feel the weight of the board now thats how much i think is still suck inside.. i have been trying to find highly detailed videos from start to finish and i am unable to find any about this mater. mostly videos i find is for simple cleaning or the never show how t open the board up..

Ok team, I like the rest of the keyboard owners, love the mechanical keyboard - I had recycled IBM keyboards for as long as they worked!!! I have a new work laptop that does not let me install any non-authorized applications, I can cope with that, but I can't cope with multicoloured keyboard lights. Surely there is a way of sending codes down to the keyboard to change all the colours to white? So what codes do I need to send to the keyboard, and how can I get them to the keyboard?

Hey guys! I'm in the process of choosing a new keyboard and there is one thing I'm having trouble with. I'm pretty sure I want the Huntsman elite. It's full size, has media keys, has a nice wrist rest and looks amazing. The switches on it are the problem though. I have no problem with the optical aspect however the noise and feel is just miles different between these gen 1 switches and the gen 2 switches found on the Huntsman mini. Infact the gen 2 seem like so much of an improvement I've considered getting the mini and sacrificing the num pad and media keys. I guess my question is does anyone know the reason why these gen 2 switches are only on the mini? The dampened sound is just exactly what I'm looking for. Seems so weird to me that the clearly better switch isn't available on the premium board. Thanks in advance!

Dear all, i have just bought very new Razer keyboard for 230$, spending hours to find out how the hell to store lighting profile into the keyboard, finding out in the end, that this is not posiible ?????? What? Really? Really i cannot do this with so expensive keyboard please? Really do i have to run 300MB Synapse application to be able to force the keyboard to lit with ONE static color? This, in addition, stops working when i lock my workstation...because then, the ONE desired color disappears, and keyboard starts with absolutelly unexpected, unwanted color spectrum discotheque! What the hell? Do you force me to go, demolish up my new keyboard, going buy another one from competitors? The keyboard is great but THIS smells by absolute amateurism, making me feeling very very bad..... Is there please any SPECIFIC date, when THIS will be corrected please? Looking forward to early, appropriate response.

After several years spent struggling on all my razer keyboards. Constant failures on the keys. After having tried to clean the keys, to look for solutions everywhere and even to replace my Tartarus V2. The solution is very simple: Just uninstall Razer Synapse completely. Everything works perfectly since this uninstallation. This is the only solution to the problem which is purely a software problem. The community has been complaining about this problem of ghost keys for years without any change made to the software by Razer. This makes their products simply unusable.

The best keyboard I ever had was Razer Arctosa. It had a few drawbacks, e.g. the caps, num, scroll lock lights were ridiculously bright, to the point where I had to put a piece of tape over them because num lock was blinding me but still I absolutely ADORED that keyboard. The plastic wrist rest, layout and low profile design were the important features for me. I dislike dazzling lights, I don't look at my keyboard when typing (thanks Arctosa) and I don't like extra light sources when gaming at night. I dislike RGB, it's a disturbing clutter breaking my focus. I had Razer Arctosa for about 10 years until I spilled orange juice over it and it broke. (I spilled water over it twice before that and it worked for years after that.) I repaired it, it lasted for 2 more weeks, broke again. I repaired the keyboard 3 more times and it always broke again so I had to buy a new keyboard. I went with Razer Ornata V2 and I don't like it. The height of the keyboard is way too high and it's uncomfortabl

Hi, i want to get a Razer BlackWidow v3 Pro with yellow switches in DE-layout but the store only sells US and NO-Layouts. There is a version with green switches in DE-layout but i want the yellow ones because the green switches are to clicky for me. The keycap-upgrade kit is also only available in US layout. Do you know a shop that sells keycaps in DE-layout that fits on the BlackWidow v3 Pro? Or are there other options to get the yellow switches with DE-Layout? Thank you for your help.

Hello, the title pretty much says it all. I would like to rebind the right alt to function as the ALT GR on international keyboards, so I can type certain charaters. Do you know if it is possible without a 3rd party appl? I tried in Synapse but it does not accept the "CRTL + ALT" combination (as the ALT GR is the same as pressing CTRL + ALT). Any ideas?
