Keyboards

This just started tonight (as far as I can tell). I typically have my entire keyboard set to static dark red, and noticed that there are a patch of multiple keys on the 10-key that go dark (/,*,0,2,5,6,8, and 9 - to be specific). When I change to anything in the blue/green spectrums, the keys light up, and when I go into any color that would use a percentage of red, the color of those keys stay to the corresponding level of blue/green. Has anyone else experienced anything like this, or know if it's possible the red LEDs went out on they keys (which I suspect)? If that is the case, is there any way to replace them?

Just as Razer made a Kickstarter for the left-handed Razer Naga Trinity, how about a Kickstarter for a Razer Orbweaver V2 or a new Razer Keypad with Opto-Mechanical Purple Switches? I'm planning to buy a Razer Blade 15 this month and would love to complete my setup with a brand new Razer Keypad and a Razer Naga Trinity. While I would have preferred a wireless Razer Naga Trinity Epic, I could settle for the wired one; however I don't think I can compromise with buying the Razer Tartarus V2 since the Mecha-Membrane Keys don't feel as good as true Mechanical Switches, let alone the Opto-Mechanical Switches. The current Razer Orbweaver is also only supported by Synapse 2 which I don't plan on installing in the new Razer Blade 15. So its been almost a month since i've been having problems with my Blackwidow Chroma Overwatch Edition, at the beggining it was both on the W and the G key, sometimes it worked while playing sometimes it doesn't (imagine playing a fps and not being able to walk foward), out of nowhere it solved itself on both keys, but now its the A key(now imagine playing Overwatch or Apex and trying to AD strafe just to move right a bit and literally stand still since the A key is not working), now the issues are even worse, before it was occasionally, now it doesn't work 70% of the time, i dont thing its a hardware problem since the issues have been jumping from key to key, i tried uninstalling everything, even a old firmware update but nothing is working, can someone help me? hi all, I am using tartarus chroma (from what I know it doesn't support synapse 3) mainly with Rhino 3d. What I would like to achieve is to change profile whenever I shift focus from Rhino to Grasshopper (for anyone who is not familiar, grasshopper is a visual programming plugin that opens in a separate window ) The only way to switch profiles is either to assign profiles to applications (this does not apply because grasshopper is not a separate application) or to create a shortcut that switches them with a button, but I want the switch to happen whenever I switch from one window to the other (which happens many times a minute) Does anyone have any idea how I could achieve that? thanks

hello simple question here, my media keys on my black widow elite (pause, play, back, next) only work with itunes when it is the program i currently have open and the keys do not work if it is minimized. is this normal and can i make them work at all times when music is playing ?

Razer Tartarus Windows 7 I want to be able to do this string of commands with a single button press: Ctrl + E Alt + Tab Shift + F5 The Alt + Tab does not work. I do not have the profile linked to an application, because I assumed that once the Alt + Tab was executed, Razer would recognize I was no longer in the linked app and not continue running the following commands.

i have the blackwidow chroma v2 atm. would like some double shot milky caps with black on top but cant find a set to fit. anyone know of a set that i can use?

A few days ago I was having a nice gaming session until I was reaching for some Coke and accidentally spilled it on my Cynosa Chroma, now it's getting sticky and I'm having troubles pressing the keys without having to wait for it to slide back into position. How do I clean my keyboard? I've tried to pour a bit of water into the keyboard (as it is apparently spill/water resistant), but I've had no luck in getting the water underneath the keycaps. Is there some way to remove the keycaps so I can clean them? Help!

I have a razer ornata chroma that I use on my Xbox, the keyboard is great but I can’t customize the lighting through my Xbox, it just goes back to default, I was wondering if I could use a usb splitter to connect the keyboard to my Xbox and laptop at the same time and be able to customize the lighting and still use the keyboard on my Xbox. I’m thinking that this might work because if synapse is not connected on a different device then the lighting will god back to default, if it is still connected to the laptop with synapse then the lighting should stay right? If it does, then the question is if you can use it on the Xbox. Has anyone tried this and did it work? Or if anyone has a razer keyboard and a usb splitter would you be able to try it for me?

so i recently built a new computer and i have purchased the blackwidow x chroma mercury white. i have not had any issues with its functionality but i have just now noticed that the lighting i have set will just turn off and start right back up as if nothing happens by just fading back on. i uninstalled/reinstalled synapse and went as far as removing mystic light as i heard it used to cause an issue as well. i tried to sit back and watch to see if it happens while nothing is being done and could see its not related to what im doing on the screen or on the keyboard. it doesnt really hurt me because its not like im looking at the keyboard 24/7 but it "urks" me knowing that it is doing this. i would really appreciate if i can get some help to solving this problem faster than i could on my own.

Hey all, As per the title, when pressing the Hypershift key on my BlackWidow Elite, it turns off lighting for all keys, and lights up the F9-F12 keys, and pause/break -- can I change this to also light up some other keys, like keys i've assigned macros to? Thanks!

Greetings, Recently I acquired a Razer Tartarus V2. According to the Razer official support of the product it says "features Razer's mecha-membrane keys, a soft cushioned touch with a crisp tactile click." Most of them follows through that description --although the "Spacebar key" (numbered 20) get's sticky sometimes-- . But my principal issue here is the "Alt" key, which doesn't follow the "Soft cushioned touch" support describes. (I attached a pic if you don't know which key i'm talking about) I posted this on Support Forum but no one answered. I thought that maybe someone knows an easy fix to this issue? :(

Hello, I have a Blackwidow Chorma V2 and it's amazing, I have no issues with it other than when I open up Streamlabs OBS my LED effects which is set to wave in Synapse it stops, like the LEDS freeze and as soon as I close Streamlabs the LEDS work as they should. Is it because Streamlabs uses so much resources? If anyone has any info it would be appreciated, thanks. My Specs: Intel i7 8700k @ 3.70GHz 16GB RAM RX 480 8GB

This can probably apply to all keyboards, mice, or anything that has the chroma lighting. One thing that I do find a bit annoying is that during boot, when I lock my computer, and when the software occasionally (one time being too many) doesn't see the keyboard that it defaults to a gaudy rainbow effect. I am sure there are a few people out there who like it, but I find it just annoying. It would be really great that if the lighting that I spent some time tweaking and making it exactly the way I wanted it to be, be the default all the time unless I specify otherwise. I can't be that hard to have the keyboard store the current lighting setup as a default boot, idle, etc, option. If I lock my screen the lights on the keyboard should stay exactly as I left them, when I boot my computer the lights should be exactly as I left them. I don't see how that is an issue or how it could be difficult to implement.

Is it out of stock at the moment or is there no korean layout for this keyboard at all? And if it is out of stock how long would it take to restock?

I'm almost certain that I will get a Razer huntsman, but have 2 questions to ask before I decide between the regular or the elite: 1) for the regular, non-elite, if the rubber feet are raised, does it slip around much? I saw some reviews that said it slips a bit, so I'm worried that it may slip too much in an intense match 2) for the elite: I heard that if the palm rest is misaligned, it will cause stuttering keys. I heard there is a firmware to fix this, but I saw Reddit posts just this month saying it still occurs. Has the latest firmware fixed this yet? Thanks!

Hey! I want to purchase the JIS layout of the Huntsman Elite, but it doesn't come with kana keycaps and I can't find anywhere that sells them.(It's hard enough to find keycaps that fit normal Razer keyboards, let alone the JIS version) The closest I can find are the ones on this Cooler Master keyboard https://apac.coolermaster.com/jp/peripheral/keyboards/masterkeys-mk750/ but alas, the bottom row doesn't align.(Corsair also sells keyboards with them in that layout, but I dislike the font.) I could replace only the character keys, but I'd prefer to have a matching set if possible.

As the title states, I have a old Tartarus Chroma. I updated to Synapse 3, and now it no longer recognizes my game pad. How would I go about fixing this?

I am considering whether to buy a Razer Huntsman, but wish to know what kind of stabiliser it uses for the heavier keys like Shift, Backspace, Space, and Enter. Does anyone know this?

Would the metallic keycaps work with the huntsman elite?
