Hello, I have a Blackwidow Chorma V2 and it's amazing, I have no issues with it other than when I open up Streamlabs OBS my LED effects which is set to wave in Synapse it stops, like the LEDS freeze and as soon as I close Streamlabs the LEDS work as they should. Is it because Streamlabs uses so much resources? If anyone has any info it would be appreciated, thanks. My Specs: Intel i7 8700k @ 3.70GHz 16GB RAM RX 480 8GB
This can probably apply to all keyboards, mice, or anything that has the chroma lighting. One thing that I do find a bit annoying is that during boot, when I lock my computer, and when the software occasionally (one time being too many) doesn't see the keyboard that it defaults to a gaudy rainbow effect. I am sure there are a few people out there who like it, but I find it just annoying. It would be really great that if the lighting that I spent some time tweaking and making it exactly the way I wanted it to be, be the default all the time unless I specify otherwise. I can't be that hard to have the keyboard store the current lighting setup as a default boot, idle, etc, option. If I lock my screen the lights on the keyboard should stay exactly as I left them, when I boot my computer the lights should be exactly as I left them. I don't see how that is an issue or how it could be difficult to implement.
Is it out of stock at the moment or is there no korean layout for this keyboard at all? And if it is out of stock how long would it take to restock?
I'm almost certain that I will get a Razer huntsman, but have 2 questions to ask before I decide between the regular or the elite: 1) for the regular, non-elite, if the rubber feet are raised, does it slip around much? I saw some reviews that said it slips a bit, so I'm worried that it may slip too much in an intense match 2) for the elite: I heard that if the palm rest is misaligned, it will cause stuttering keys. I heard there is a firmware to fix this, but I saw Reddit posts just this month saying it still occurs. Has the latest firmware fixed this yet? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I recently got a RBS and found a thread that helped me change my fn keys for multimedia here, and I wanted to know if anybody knew how to change the F8 thru F11 fn key settings to just press them and not have to press the fn key. Thanks.
Hey! I want to purchase the JIS layout of the Huntsman Elite, but it doesn't come with kana keycaps and I can't find anywhere that sells them.(It's hard enough to find keycaps that fit normal Razer keyboards, let alone the JIS version) The closest I can find are the ones on this Cooler Master keyboard https://apac.coolermaster.com/jp/peripheral/keyboards/masterkeys-mk750/ but alas, the bottom row doesn't align.(Corsair also sells keyboards with them in that layout, but I dislike the font.) I could replace only the character keys, but I'd prefer to have a matching set if possible.
As the title states, I have a old Tartarus Chroma. I updated to Synapse 3, and now it no longer recognizes my game pad. How would I go about fixing this?
I am considering whether to buy a Razer Huntsman, but wish to know what kind of stabiliser it uses for the heavier keys like Shift, Backspace, Space, and Enter. Does anyone know this?
Would the metallic keycaps work with the huntsman elite?
I am very concerned about this issue!
I am considering getting a Razer Huntsman for the new optomechanical purple switches to play Tetris with. From what I know, it is light, has low travel distance, fast actuation, clicky, tactile, and free from wobbles. Its heavier keys, like space and shift also seem to use superior stabilisers compared to Cherry, which does not make it mushy. I also heard that it solves the problem of 'hysteresis', where now, the actuation point is the same as the reset point. However, when I went to a store to test it out just now, I found out that in order for the key to click again after pressing down, you have to lift your fingers up to the point of clicking, before you can push down again. The sample was not connected to a computer, so I cannot test it by seeing if I can 'wiggle' the key switch, such that my continued double or triple tappings are below the 'clicky/tactile' point, to see if the key can continue registering presses, just like on my Cherry MX speed switches. As such, I am worri
What is the best keyboard to get for a new pc gamer, not to expensive but still good?
Is there any way to make it static? I have a 2018 blade 15 advanced. Synapse version 3.4. Thanks
**Update 11/15/2018 - 4th device just failed with same issue (d-pad microswitch fails). See below for more details. **Update 7/12/18 - 3rd device just failed with same issue (d-pad button). See my new post below for the details.** Hi - I'm not certain if this is the right place to post this, but I'm hoping to bring attention to a quality control issue on the new Tartarus V2 Chroma d-pad switches in the hopes that it will get fixed in a new revision of the product. TLDR: the d-pad micro-switches are failing way too fast (~1-2 months of use). After a bit of research, I'm 99% certain I found the switches that are being used (http://www.kailh.com/en/Products/MS/MN/389.html), which claim to be rated for 3 million clicks. There are 4 of these switches (one for each direction on the d-pad) on a little daughter board inside the device. First Failure (JAN '18 - mid FEB '18, ~1.5 months) - the "right / east" d-pad button fails. Switch starts to stick in-game and loses it "clicky" sound.
I was looking to buy a new keyboard, and came across the Blackwidow X Chroma. The problem is, I wanted to buy it in mercury white, and with the UK layout. However, this was not an option in when I tried to buy it in the store. Does razer not sell this product?
I searched now a long time to activate the gaming mode via Synapse 3 automaticaly, when i open a specific game. Could it be possible, that this isnt implemented yet?
Title, or is this a false hope I should give up on? I don't want to lose the effects I see when typing if I can help it. Running the old software is "fine" for now.
So recently my keyboard lighting turned on when my PC was shut down. So i googled the problem and found solutions but when i headed int omy bios i could not find the setting where i can disable the USB Battery charging spot. pls hälp!111!
Im having an issue editing my chroma lighting my keyboard lights up but it only cycles through the colors like default i can change the brightness but cant the lighting. Ive tried a fresh version of synapse 3.0 and still no luck.
The keybord is best
I just updated synapse and lost all my previous settings. Before updating I had a mute microphone key that when pressed, besides muting the microphone, would also turn its LED off (to indicate that the key the mic is muted). The problem is that I don't remember how to do this, much less with the new interface. Does anyone have any ideia?
Hi all, I am really wanting to get the Blackwidow elite with yellow switches, but for some reason on the Razer store there is no option to buy one in a UK layout, only in a US layout. It is available in a UK layout with green and orange switches, but not in yellow. there is not even an option there at all, which makes me think that this is not even in production at all, and I have checking the online store nearly every day for about 2 - 3 months now. does anyone no if this will ever be available and when? any info would be much appreciated :)
Title says it all. I have a Blackwidow Chroma V2 with a broken key cap on the space bar. I have had trouble finding a replacement that will fit. I am no keyboard expert so forgive me if this is a simple question. I asked reddit and the best answer I got was "steal on off the display at best buy"
Greetings! I have a question regarding the differences between the Orbweaver and the Tartarus v2. I own a Tartarus (I guess it must be "v1"). I see the basic differences between the Orbweaver and Tartarus v2 (mechanical v. membrane; no mouse wheel; mouse wheel). Question: Is there a *size* difference? I'm a chick with small hands. My hand fits fine on the Tartarus and I did not purchase the original hourglass shaped Orbweaver [it might have been called something else - gamepad, whatever] because it was waaay too big for my hand. I would go to a store to check this out, but I live in a computer wasteland it seems and there are no stores around me that carry both the Orbweaver and the Tartarus - not even "Best Buy" which is about the closest thing I have here to a store I can buy computer stuff in [really sad...]. So. I know the Orbweaver is adjustable - if my hand fits on a Tartarus v1, can the Orbweaver be adjusted enough so my hand will fit on it? This is the only thing
Hey I recently got a Razer chroma, it's great I don't know why I didnt get it earlier. But I've been looking at some cool lighting profiles made online, and I cannot set them on my software. Let me explain. I went to the razor website and downloaded a profile, which then saved it as a .ChromaEffects file. After that I opened synapse (3), selected my keyboard, went to lighting, then selected "Chroma studio" --> clicked import, browsed the .ChromaEffects file and it worked. So then I went to this youtube vid, downloaded this file, but this file was saved as a .RazerChroma. So when I went through the same steps when I tried to "import" the file was not found. Apparently .RazerChroma doesnt show, so I changed it manually to .ChromaEffects, now I can select the file in the browse section, but it won't allow me to import it. I must be overcomplicating it. Please help, I really want that profile.
