I am on windows 10 and have Synapse 3 installed. It is recognizing my keyboard and mousepad but the DeathAdder Chroma is not showing up. I am not sure what to do as I want to be able to edit DPI. I have unplugged it and plugged it back in and it still doesn't find it.

Deathadder Chroma is not supported on Synapse 3 (full list of supported devices here). Please install Synapse 2 to configure your Deathadder Chroma.

So uninstall Synapse 3 and install 2? Will the mouse pad and chroma keyboard work with 2?
The list of devices supported by Synapse 2 is on this page. If the device is supported on both Synapse 2 and 3, then you would be need to uninstall Synapse 3 and install Synapse 2 for the to show up in Synapse 2. If the device is supported only on Synapse 2 (like your Deathadder Chroma), it would show up on Synapse 2 regardless.
Razer Deathadder Chroma is on the compatible list for Synapse 2, however having reinstalled Synapse 2, the mouse is still not being detected. Seriously a major pain as I cannot configure the mouse component if I cant see it.
Are you kidding me? Just updated my Black Widow Chroma to a Huntsman, now the Huntsman isn't supported in Synapse 2 and my DeathAdder Chroma isn't supported in Synapse 3. Two annoying shitty splash screens of two different Synapses at every Windows boot for products from the same company..that's just great.
Am i supposed to replace my perfectly working mouse now just to have a coherent software experience? Is this how you try to pressure people into buying new products? Ridiculous...this was my last Razer purchase.

Im stuck on synapse2 for my deathadder chroma.. They really need to add support in synapse 3 for this device !

there are loads of ppl that use the DeathAdder Chroma, and we are all forced to use synapse 2.0
there have been alot of uppdates to Synapse 3.0 and new devices become compitable with 3.0
how hard can it be to make a patch that make the DeathadderChroma compitable with Synapse 3.0
and Razer supports for real, LISTEN to what your costumers are saying, we dont ask for much and it would be in your best intrest to actualy solve the issues and problems that Custumers have or you will keep losing people to Corsair, Logitech and so on

Up to a couple of days ago, I had Death Adder Chroma mouse, Black Widow Ultimate kybd and Razer Surround all showing on Razer Synapse 2. Then mysteriously the mouse dropped from the list. I tried reconnecting the mouse no change. I deleted and reinstalled mouse and later Razer Synapse 2 and still do not see the mouse (I only see the kybd and Surround sound). Mouse simply lost ! This is so unnecessarily frustrating to lose functionality that was once there. If it aint broke, then don't f*** around with it is my message to Razer ! Obviously from the thread above, trying Synapse 3 wont resolve this. I was contemplating upgrading to new Razer Mouse + Kybd + Headphone soon, BUT now seriously looking at competitor products to avoid silly issues like this where the company fails to meet customer needs. Thanks Razer ...

Hi, I was having the exact same error page not allowing me to access any of the features of my Razer Deathadder Chroma and after ALOT of searching I came across this video on YouTube, it seemed to have worked flawlessly for me because apparently once you had updated your mouses driver through the Synapse 2 application, windows recognises it as a keyboard as well as a mouse. Anyway, this video shows you how to update the mouses driver to a previous version therefore allowing Synapse 2 to recognise the mouse 
Install Synapse 2 for your mmouse next to Synapse 3 for your keyboard and mousepad.
Is't complicated, it happens the same to me ... because Razer does not just give you support to these peripherals of the company that until the sun of today are still of their best products? Do you forget some users? or simply force you to update your peripherals ...
Really a little out of sync with this Synapse 3 that is getting farther and farther away from being official, it almost goes 1 years from this and I do not see support for some not so old peripherals that continue being really incredible.

mine isn't let me change DPI even tho its shows in the corner thats its changing.
Try unplugging and plugging it back in.

Yeah, honestly, if this isn't fixed fairly fast, I am switching away from Razer.

This is indeed ridiculous! I ordered Blackwidow keyboard only after found out that deathadder chroma doenst work on Synapse 3! Now I have to keep both synapse 2 & 3 turned on cause mouse's customization wouldn't work otherwise !

That is so dumb and a cheap tactic to get people to buy an updated version of a mouse they already own, I don't want to spend another 60 bucks on a deathadder elite, support the original deathadder on your software. Corsair is better.

Got an answer from razer that there developers is working for a solution to migrate all Razer devices to Synapse 3 (Synapse 3 is still just a beta).
Yesterday i went and bought a brand new DeathAdder Elite and uninstalled Synapse 2.

I can't even connect my Deathadder Chroma with Synapse 2, it does not act like its even in the USB-Port. Same situation as the Screenshot from the guy above. Hope you Guys from the Support Area fix it quite fast. If not i will definitly change to another competitior.

My Blackwidow Chroma V1 is not being detected also. What is going on with Synapse 3?
Being that the DeathAdder Chroma has the word CHROMA in the name, it should support Synapse 3.

I have spent a LOT of money with Razer over the years for my gaming rigs and my sons, but if this doesn't get added quick, this will be the absolute last Razer product this family purchases.
