another issue now, they don't download or run the game on background

even my old xiaomi that only 200$ can do that

I just tried download FF Mobius again since it's more than 5 GB I switch and play another game, but when try back to check it's only running when I open the apps,

I wonder if there are any settings to make the apps keep running even in background?

EDIT : already tried using dual screens, the download also stops if not running on the main process.

This is so sad, RP2 should be more powerful that normal phone, my xiaomi note 5 pro and galaxy note 9 can do this, why RP2 can't? It's wasting time and battery since we cannot lock screen or using another apps while downloading the game data (not from playstore, if download from playstore this is running well even if you are playing another game or lock the screen, what I am talking about is the game data download when you start playing a game, example : FF Mobius, Azur Lane, Epic7 and etc.)

found it.... took awhile but find solution for this...
so this problem happen when you see contact on call icon, if it's from contact icon it won't be appear double cuz you can customize it... so here's the solution...
go to contact on call icon then pick 1 (tab 1) of your double contact and then on the top right there is 3 dot and if you tab it there is few option choose "link"... this option allow you to link the contact with other contact or in other word you can merge it into 1 contact.... the problem is you need to do this 1 by 1, no shortcut....

now only hope they give firmware upgrade for background downloading, it's quite sad to keep watching the download progress.. meanwhile low budget phone like redmi note 5 can do it, and samsung galaxy note 3,5, 9 can do this

Anyone interested at all I have purchased the Razer Phone 2 a week back or so and posted a live 1st impressions upload. I come from a Windows Phone 950XL and although I didn't want to switch, got no choice.
I went Razer for the Speakers and screen size.

lol - IMO there were a few things wrong with the RP1 - but they fixed them all in the RP2 - brightness being my biggest issue...

Which one do you prefer, me, the white brightness one.
But on games it isn’t noticeable. I updated pie, play pubg 5 kills picking dead man items...and damn wlan gone:mad_:
It’s a bit hotter than RP1 on gaming maybe due new vapor chamber that take heat faster to transfer to the cassis, well maybe I download something background and it’s not optimized yet.

White brightness better, but my RP2 has white brightness also, but better than rp2 easily.

The right one is RP1...LE 1337 accurately:smile_:, and left one is new RP2. Can give me a shoot from same setting max Brightness in dark area, it’ll be nice if you could.

hey buddy - the left one is amber tint because you have night light set to auto - you need to turn it off....this will make it white....this is nothing to do with the phone - just a setting.

the RP2 has a much brighter screen and it is white light i assure you

the settings are different on the 2 phones mate - check my response to him. Please dont listen to this - the RP2 has a much better screen mate. The difference in brightness is nearly double - and it is white

yeah. I don't have RP 1 to compare but my RP2 is not as bright and white as my 4 years old blackberry is

My friend, the left one is on german and right one translates it to English, it’s same turned off (won’t turn on automatically). Maybe I just not used to this warm screen since my works phone, Apple phone is even white crispier than my RP1 (right one). Yes you’re right though under sunlight RP2 has better visibility.

....but looking at my RP2 its very white and very nice and if i recall correctly a lot better screen than my RP1

RP2 is the one on the right.

they both have adaptive brightness off and brightness at 100%.

dunno about everyone else but the one on the right is much brigter - yes compared to the one on the right there is a slight orange tint but i will be honest with you i did not even notice this until you brought it up and i have had the phone since the day it was released.

i think it looks worse because it is sitting next to a dull, very dim, greyish screen...this makes it look more orange than it actually is

I just love to play games on smartphones and Razer phone 2 is an amazing smartphone which comes with the specification for heavy games. Right now I am using Honor Play and this is one of the finest gaming smartphone which I have ever used.

Are we gonna see some security updates? Mine is running on FEB security patch, which is pretty weird. Is even Razer supporting Razer Phone 2 at the moment? When they reorganize they said, that RP2 will get support, but doesn't seems that way to me.
