Flagship//Gaming has never looked this good, meet the Razer Phone 2: http://rzr.to/phone2

The next generation Razer Phone is here, and the silky-smooth screen is better than ever. The 5.7’’ UltraMotion display boasts true 120Hz touch sampling and display refresh rate—making this the fastest screen in mobile gaming.

Coupled with the unapologetically loud Dolby Atmos dual front-firing stereo speakers, the Razer Phone 2 supports both HDR and 5.1 surround sound content. Perfect for games, music, and movies on the go, nothing comes close to this ultimate mobile entertainment machine.

What’s more, we made no compromises with the all-new upgrades. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 2.8GHz processor, 8GB RAM, and advanced vapor chamber cooling—the Razer Phone 2 provides great performance at work and play. We’ve even upgraded the camera, so you can capture stunning photographs and precious memories no matter where you are.

Last but certainly not least, we’ve added Wireless Fast Charging so you can get juiced up quick, IP67 water resistance to weather any storm, and of course an illuminated logo powered by Razer Chroma for full on customization.

Premium flagship features combined with industry leading gaming performance—this is the all-new Razer phone 2. This is Flagship//Gaming: http://rzr.to/phone2

ive got this phone , so excited it only came yesterday so i havnt had chance to check it out yet
Hey there all, does anyone know when the Satin Black version of the Phone 2 will be available? Thanks in advance.
I bought the "kevlar" case to see how it fits in my pocket and this thing is F****n ginormous. I thought I could get used to it (why I bought the case) but holy cow! It's not quite enough to put me off buying the phone but it is definitely a wide load compared to the iphone 7 and sony xz1c (which is about the same size as the ip7).

This phone will definitely help me carry my phone less (I'm an addict). It is wide which is the biggest thing to get used to. A bit taller as well (not as big a deal). Surprisingly, it is quite thin. I was expecting it to be thicker.

The case is nice, don't think it protects much as it is very thin but it's quite flexible. I'll probably get the silicone cases and hope razer adds a few more color options for the silicone case. (white? purple? red?)

Really glad to see it's waterproof as I use my phone in the bathtub a lot for movies and podcasts etc.
looks amazing!
just got my razer phone 2 today... I order it at friday night, and delivered today, that's greaaatttt.....

first hands on the phone really satisfied, love the boxy phone, bit slippery since the back is glass....
overall it's really great, sound is loud and good, camera quality looking good and the stutter also great not much problem in my eyes, the 120hz screen really really satisfiying....

little downside, the color at the screen for gaming app looks like a bit softy.... maybe the setting is not correct, but let me find it later....

sounds like the sound system isn't as good as what's advertised

I see what you did there. Hahaha. :wink_:
Has anyone else bought this phone and is using on Verizon Wireless? I have everything working on the phone expect I cannot receive MMS text messages; I can make/receive calls + make/receive SMS texts, and I can even send MMS texts but can't receive. The APNs are locked down on this phone and VzW was unable to help me.

I'm totally picturing the dude watching from the bathtub in "The Truman Show".

Has anyone ...

Just had to comment on your name. Awesome.

Still waiting for word on availability in Australia. Earlier announcements said November, and we're already 2/3 of the way through the month ...
Problems with mine .

I purchased my phone from three UK. The phone listed here is a warranty replacement. On the original device I had two issues.
1) Popping sound after system notification
2) The chroma Razer logo staying illuminated on high setting after phone put into standby and screen asleep.
Three replaced my device, but this one suffers the same issue.
I have hard reset, soft reset, reset to factory fresh. I believe there is a software bug.
My device is running Android version 8.1.0
Hi guys. Wondering about the phone camera . Read so many bad comments about the camera.
Is it okay ? I really wanna Buy this rp2
Thx !
what's up guys, so I've been using razerphone 2 for about a week now and here is my review : (note that I like razer but not that crazy like since I skip the first version which in my opinion still have a setback)

1. Body (casing)
It's great, I like the boxy kind, it look so solid... the glass back also great... but like any other glass out there, the finger print problem, especially when the color is black, so to anyone who cannot stand the finger print can use case for it.... and one more problem with the body is that it's so slippery, not reccomend using the phone while you in sleep position, it dropped many times at my face, and it hurt since the phone is quite heavy....

2. The Razer logo
Really nice but it's not that usefull.... When I'm at home, I only using the logo light only for notification (it's low set at chroma app), but when I go outside, I'm using med setting, turn on while using the phone.... I'll try the high settting, it's drain the battery a lot, especially when you put the brightness at max... and I need to place my phone with the logo on top so I can see the light when there is notification, otherwise need to check your phone quite frequently.

3. Fingger print scanner
Love it.... It's responsive, not too fast but enough fast to enjoy unlocking the phone... I like the placing of the scanner, it's like automatic unlock when you pick up the phone....

4. Speaker
It's so louuuuuuuuddddd.... I'm not speaker person, so I'm usually set the phone on silent, but when I use the speaker, I set the volume at 20%, and for me it's already loud, never try using it at max volume, maybe later.

5. Screen
no need to commend much on this since you need to experiance it by yourself the 120hz screen, it's so smooth, for every games I played at, no matter it's 120hz game or not. But the brightness, for me it's bright, I set the brightness at 40% at room and 100% outside. So if there is someone outhere saying that it's not bright, you need to check your eyes bro...

6. Camera
I'm not a camera person, so for me the camera is okay, the quality is good, the stutter is quick, I hope the camera have a night mode, but overall it's good camera. If you are a camera person which looking for detail maybe it's not for you, but I don't know, need to try for yourself.

7. Performance
It's just great, no lag for every games I played, every app I'm using. It gets hot but a bearable hot, I mean if you play heavy games which required high resolution of graphic, it's getting hot but not that hot, just a normal hot, and it's cooling down pretty quick, so no worries for me.

8. Battery
5 Hour screen time from 100% to 25%, for me that's really great. I played injustice 2, Marvel future fight, and Lineage 2 rev, It's all done from 8 am to 3 pm without charging plus scrolling down on instagram and reading some manga. Then take about 1 to 1 half hours charge from below 10%. That with 90hz setting on reguler use and high performance setting on games with low setting on chroma app.

9. Others
I still remember that there is a problem at razer phone when it connected at computer, it cannot transfer data using the charging cable, well it can now, but need to change the setting at the phone. So when you plug in to computer, go to your phone, scroll down top menu and you will have the option for it.

something that I'm not tried yet, the wireless charging (need to wait for the availability for razer wireless charging), the waterproof (still trying to avoid the water), the bluethooth (not urgent, so maybe later).

So that's all a week experience with the razer phone 2, so for me, I satisfied with the phone, no problem so far (not asking), it's great phone for gaming especially and with the price, I think it's great value, should be more expensive but shoutout to razer for not upping the price too much.... cheers 🍺🍺🍺

Update from Razer Support .

We really apologize for the inconvenience. We just got an update that this is a software issue and will be fixed in the upcoming maintenance release for Razer Phone 2.

We suggest that you keep that phone for now since it is a software issue and it will be fixed anyway in the upcoming maintenance release.

Can you set the chroma brightness to high, then turn off the screen .Does the logo stay on?

The Low, Medium, High options with the lighting icon are for power usage. It's supposed to stay on all the time with the high setting.

To change the brightness press the rainbow box where it says main chroma effect then press the sun icon in the bottom left and there is a slider to adjust the brightness.

If you set on high setting, the logo stays on even when the screen turn off...

That's ridiculously great battery life there compared to my current phone!!

I try to make a low consumption battery when I'm not gaming, like last night about 11 pm my phone was on 44%, and then go to sleep without charging my phone, wake up at 5.30 am, and my phone is at 39%.... then charge it, go back to sleep, wake up at 7 and it's already 100%... as long as you set your phone on regular use in low consumption setting, you can get great battery result, but if you put high setting like 120hz screen all the time and the logo on all time, brightness screen at max, it will drain your battery fast, not even half day and you need power bank....
