Would anyone have any clue why my Refurb RP1 with MR2 (i.e. 6033) will not OTA update? Razer support was not very supportive and with the tales of other refurb buyers ending up with phones in download mode, I am not keen on RMAing it. There is no SIM card in it but I do not know why one would be required. I could manually load the OTA but was told this would void the warranty(???).

OK I know this is a weird topic, but my dad swapped the family into an unlimited data plan, and until now Ive been using a Samsung Alias 2 flip phone. I have a Razer 2 I bought off contract from Razer directly, but I use it like a pocket tablet, I cant say I ever actually planned to use it as a phone. But now, I can theoretically activate or pop in a sim card to get it on their network. Im actually fighting myself hard right now not to buy the Motorola Z3 play (its on sale for about 22 more hours and a controller mod case if it doesnt sell out before I act) and use that as my phone, while keeping the R2 off network. My biggest concern is that attaching the phone to Verizon's network might get me a different OTA update version. I seem to think one of my dad's unlocked phones got Verizon logos added to the boot screen after one of the bigger OTA updates and maybe a bit of verizon bloatware snuck onto his phone and could not be removed afterwards. Hello, I recently purchased a new Razer Phone 1, Model: RZ35-0215. I was having some issues getting my sim card to work after updating to android 9.0, so I decided to download the factory image from the razer website and flash it back to 7.1.1 when my sim card worked fine. Unfortunately, while flashing it, my usb cable got pulled out of my computer on accident. Since that happened, the phone was unresponsive so I decided to do a hard restart, boot back into download mode or bootloader mode and reflash the firmware. After it shut down it never “restarted”, the screen just stayed completely black. My computer recognized it in device manager as qusb_hub or something rather. After looking up the hardware ID numbers and downloading/installing the correct drivers it now reads as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 also known as EDL mode. After doing some extensive research I found out that when the cable was removed during the flashing process, it somehow corrupted the internal partition table an

So, i jumped on the black friday deal on the razer phone 2 and after the hours it takes to restore my data, I still have the following 2 issues: 1: sd card reports 2x the size (reproducible with 3 different manufacturer sd cards) 2: when set to system memory, I cannot see the sd card on my pc. When set to portable, it see's it fine, but not as system storage. 1st issue seems to be a carry over from the rp1, but the second I need working. I have already tried switching from system to portable and back with no issue, a factory reset from the system menu and a factory reset from the recovery menu. All showed no difference and literally a loss in hours from the previous data recovery. Any suggestions?

I've been using LastPass for years and just got the RP2 last week. Until now I haven't had any major issues, but now I'm having a catastrophic one. Does anyone else use the app on their RP2 with or without issues? My initial problem was I got the green check that I logged in ok, but got "invalid password" errors any time I tried to access my vault. LastPass tech support was no help, but I got past that by changing my master password. Now my vault loads but the entries have no login info or are ASCII characters. Again tech support has been of no help so far (so much for a premium subscription, they've only suggested things I've already tried). I've tried everything from clearing the app cache to full factory reset, and still the same issue. Everything loads fine on other devices in the app, and it loads fine on my RP2 via Chrome. This seems to be specific to their app on this phone, so now I'm wondering if it's some sort of incompatibility interfering with the loading/decrypting of th

I'm getting used to using gesture navigation, but the back button is so far to the left that it's hard for me to reach when using one handed. I've been spoiled by my last phone, the LG V20 and its customizable navigation buttons (I had 5 set up and it worked great). It doesn't seem there's an option to customize the buttons beyond turning gesture navigation off and on in the stock settings. Are there any tricks/hacks to improve the layout? I'd love to move the back button a bit to the right and also add a notification drop down button (the down swipe gesture for it only works on the Nova home screens), and would be something I'd root for if needed.

Was wondering if there is an app for the RAZER wireless charger on Play Store? I've seen people with phones other than Razer phone able to control the lighting on it.

Since the coil is located lower than on most phones, is it safe to add a thin metal plate in the area above it and directly below the RBG logo so that it can attach to a magnet(Vicseed brand) on the vent? It seems like it should be okay since it's not located on top of the coil...but I wanted to hear other's thoughts first.

Hi guys I just buy a Razer Phone 1 refurbished from the official Razer store on E bay my problem it’s that when I charge the phone ( it came with the battery dead) the phone start and it’s stuck in Dowload mode when I manage to restart it the phone it’s stuck in the logo ( Powered by Android logo) I restart it again and it’s stuck in the Dowload mode again I can’t pass from there I try to get in the recovery mode by pressing down VOL up and power and with VOL DOWN press all the buttons at the same time plugged in my PC unplugged and nothing works do you guys know any solution for this issue?

PSA: Camera Force Closing Hey everyone As some of you know there's an issue with the latest pie update that results in the do not disturb function causing the camera to force close. For the time being please just switch off do not disturb to use the camera. I've reported it to Razer so hopefully we'll see a fix soon.

Am playing pokemon go and although I get the screen up and running fine on android pie they don't work at the same time. one screen stops when you use the other. Any tips on how to enable simultaneous play?

Hey guys not sure if anybody else has run into this yet, I have a RP2 with android 9 and I've been collecting great games to play left and right, plus I have a ton of music downloaded locally, I take pictures, videos, etc... pretty soon 64 gigs goes fast, right? "No problem" I tell myself, as I shut the phone down, pop out the tray, toss in a good sandisk 128 GB micro SD card and fire it back up. It recognizes the card right away and says "hey, you wanna use this for phone storage? you could free up a lot of space!" and I'm like "heck yeah thats exactly what we're trying to do here!" So... the data migration window gives you no options and no insight as to what its moving to the card, but it does its thing. It "migrates data" for like 10-15 minutes or however long, and when it finishes it now shows 34 GB of my microSD card is used, and 54 GB still used on the internal storage.... wat? I don't understand. Nothing was "freed up" on internal, but it copied "something" to the SD card.

I picked up a RP2 during the Black Friday sales and am awaiting delivery. I’ve been doing research because it’s been a while since I’ve used Android. I’ve seen a lot of praise for the RP2, but I’m also seeing a lot of reports of issues ranging from small to extreme (failing USBc ports). I’ve honestly considered returning to sender and looking elsewhere, but I think the RP2 is the best-specced phone for $300. Would you buy again? Why or why not?

When will it come to this gaming phone line? I want this mainly because of Google's modular security patch system that is introduced by this update as I'm still on Feb 2019 on my Razer Phone 2 as I wait for a 5g gaming modular case for this device post Panasonic laptop upgrade Mr.Mobile reviewed recently seeing this phone as a cloud gaming device with GeForce Now coming to Andriod OS soon. With the Minecraft earth beta out I've ran into the issue of ARCore still not being available for the Razer phone or the Razer phone 2. Will they ever add support for this phone? I know that the technical specs are there so it shouldn't be too hard to get support.want to try Minecraft but unfortunately we can't.

So, I bought a Kraken x lite. At first everything was normal, the audio is ok, but when I tested the mic it doesn't seem to be working properly on the desktop, doesn't capture my voice correctly and the volume is very low, but when I connected to my phone it was working properly, I tried to update the drivers already, can someone help me please? Looks like there was a deal today that seemed to have finished off the last of the stock. Granted only Satin Black has been in stock recently and Mirror Black has been gone for weeks/months. Do you think they're going to restock since it has the "notify me" link vs the grey "out of stock" or the page being moved/sunset to the "www2." subdomain? I'm new to Razer 2. Formatted card, when asked, I thought I chose the option that augmented internal 64gb storage with my 128gb sd. I only see 45.7gb "internal shared storage" I know it recognized and added the sd at one point, but here we are. Anyone able to help me? Aloha
