Lack of information as to why the delay and then removal of the satin variant of the Phone 2 have left me somewhat stumped. Razer support is unable to provide anything useful in terms of an answer. For there to have been all the work to put it on the website, list prices and even build up some of the hype it is a bit perplexing as to why it is now gone. Since Razer won't answer one is left to wonder, hardware issues, production problems, software (though this would affect the gloss edition also)....

Anyone having any issues getting Waze sound to play through car speakers with Android Auto? Google Maps works fine but no waze sounds. Using Uconnect in a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 plugged in via usb cable. My old Pixel XL had no issues, Waze worked fine in android auto using the same cord.

If I was to leave my Razer phone 2 on my Razer wireless charger even when battery is at 100%, basically using the charger as a stand for the phone, would that be bad for my phones battery life later on down the line?

Hi everyone. I have an razer phone 1, and after 2 month, i let my phone fall. It fell with the corner down.. Theres a little damage in there, nothing that prejudice the funcions. But, you know, that little damage still bother me. But theres a problem: im from Brazil. So if i send my razer to Razer team in USA, i must pay export and import(with tax) and of course, the repair. What is my Idea: fix It myself. Buy a new metallic razer phone frame and the sounds protectors(because to open that phone, i must take off that sounds protectors, and they cannot be placed back). That will be a good Idea? Where i can find that parts? Already searched.

Currently have an xperia xz1 compact. Would be tempted to get a bigger phone if: 1. Razer phone has waterproofing. Minimum ip66/67. 2. Razer phone's back logo has Chroma RGB. Can setup to strobe during a call. The only feature I miss from the iphone is the strobe light ringer. Please please.:cool_:

Purchased razer 2 phone, 5 days ago. And all the apps keep crashing . I've done all the updates and uninstalled and reinstalled all the apps that are giving me issues and now even the camera crashes. YouTube doesn't play all videos properly, whether on wifi or LTE+. It always stops to load and drops quality. Even if I choose a higher quality. Anyone else running into issues with the razer phone 2?

Hi I am not a razer phone user. I was wondering to get Razer over an other brand for gaming, but decided to not, bcoz of the Jack and camera for family purposes. Anyway Razer is a decent phone for gaming and very recommended. I saw at an other closed thread, that ppl having issue with mic. I have a same problem with my old phone. Its not Razer but have a similarity in both. Neither have Jack. Both phones using C-TYPE adapter to jack and for some reason, if you use cheap (Chinese) adapter, for compactibilty reasons it's shitsup the mics driver. I dont know why. it's an android bug. so if you notice, that your mic gives this sizzling noise turn your phone back to the manufacturer to have it fixed and avoid to use cheap jack adapter in the future. Best to all.

Does anyone else have this problem? When charging, as soon as the phone reaches 100%, the screen stays on. During the day this is ok, as it would just be unplugged when it reaches 100%, but trying to charge it at night is a major problem (unless the phone is flipped over so you can't see the screen!) Is there something I've missed in the settings that will stop this happening?

I had read that chroma was customizable for each app alert, you could pick different colors for text messages, emails, etc. I don't see a way to do it, can someone tell me how? Thank you.

Can anybody confirm if Android Auto works on their RP2? I couldnt get my RP2 to work but Pixel 2 XL works, same cable, same car.

Does the RP1 support RCS? My carrier is rolling out support for this and I have yet to get it.. I was wondering if anyone with the RP1 has gotten it yet or if we've heard definitively that it will be supported.

When I am playing Pokemon Go on my Razer Phone, and I use split screen, the pokemon go app seems like inactive. Any workaround? I have tried to increase game performence but the app is still inactive while I am using browser etc. on the second half of the display.

I want to purchase two wireless Razer chargers for my qi enabled phone (not Razer phone) but am unable to find the chroma configurator app on the play store... Strangely there is a wireless charger app on the iTunes store for iOS... Online it says the app is available for Android as well

I just received my RP2 yesterday and for some reason ATT is telling me that the phone does not support Wi-fi calling despite them clearly stating on their website where I ordered the phone that it does. I have seen on other forums that numerous other people have been able to successfully do wifi calling. My issue is that I can't even see an option to turn it on in my settings. As far as I can tell I have android 8.1 out of the box. Is anyone else having this issue?

Beeing relatively unaware of garanties and all this stuff, i ask you, dear forumers (i've also contacted support, but in France no direct web chat or no call to after sale service (very sad) so i'm waiting for them to answer my mail) I didn't find nowhere to buy a new rear glass (i can change it on my own if necessary, i've done it a few time on old sony Z5 cellphones) Do you know where i can find a new one? I live in france I don't trust repairmen in malls or in store who takes about 50 euros to excanche mine with a poor quality glass that i can buy 10 euros

Here's what it is. Razer proudly claims that the new Razer Phone 2, upgrades to a flagship status, without hindering the community's request to water resistant the phone. And we are glad to announce it is now officially rated IP67. Right. It's in the keynote, pamphlet, official Razer Phone 2 page, Facebook, Instagram, everywhere. You get it. But the actual fact here is a half baked gimmick, where they took a gamble to over claim, over promise. Buying into their claims, I washed my phone the other day. Briefly, the phone couldn't charge. Thinking it be be moisture problems around the port, I made sure to not force it, leave it to dry for couple of hours and try again. Didn't work, then the phone went into boot loop, and the screen refuses to light up anymore. Sent in for diagnosis, in hope for a warranty claim for the charging port maybe??
