About the Paid to Play Suspension.

We created Paid to Play as an opportunity for gamers to get rewarded, just by gaming. Since the program’s launch, over 1B zSilver has been exchanged and over 35,000 rewards redeemed by our fans.

We’re always listening to the community, and everyone’s feedback is important to us. With an increasing amount of negative feedback on the Paid to Play program, we’re going to be taking a hard look into the overall program and mechanics to do right for you and all the gamers who participated. While we take time to develop ways to make it rewarding and beneficial for all, we will suspend the Paid to Play program, effective March 1, 2018. In the event that we are unable to provide a satisfactory solution, the program will be suspended indefinitely.

Making Razer zSilver the rewards credits for gamers has always been our goal, and we’re constantly working on ways to introduce more rewards to earn zSilver. With over 50 rewards on the Razer zSilver catalog, kindly note that rewards will always be on a first-come, first-served, while stocks last basis.

If you’re a step away from redeeming your next Razer reward, here are other ways to earn zSilver:

• Using Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider
• Logging in daily on Razer Cortex
• Syncing your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
• Subscribing to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to be introduced soon

We thank you for supporting Paid to Play, and welcome all feedback and suggestions on this thread. Should you have any other questions about Paid to Play, please write in to Razer Support or refer to our FAQs here.

Why would someone give a negative feedback on this feature ? I don't understand...

Jealous idiots aka internet trolls, plain and simple.

I just learned about this a while ago, wondering why I was not receiving zsilver for Hearthstone. Now I'm like, how do I get them gud stuff now.

Well, actually there was a flaw in the P2P system (more in the whole razerstore tbh)
I'm not a 24/7 hardcore gamer but I quickly got the zsilver to redeem a simple cap until they stopped the system.
I wanted to check out the shipping fee before redeeming..
OH WOW 43€ SHIPPING FEE NICE!

You get nothing for free/reasonable price from the razerstore.
You can pay a super high shipping fee from the razerstore (totally NOT worth) or get a discount (discount =/= free but it's still something).
Or you can buy something else to get to "orders over XX get free shipping" (But it's more money to buy a cap. If you only want a cap/t-shirt that's not cool) .
You can hope in some free-shipping days but you aren't sure that on these days the item will be in stock.
Still, I'd rather have a longer shipping for free/smaller price. A cap, a t-shirt... that's not something that requires such careful shipping unlike a keyboard.
Obviously if you get the 300k points to redeem the razer nommo that'd be worth, but idk how could you since the system stopped, there is a zsilver expiration date, achievements are a one-time thing and there isn't any option to get a good amount of zsilver yet.

Sorry dear razer but im not gonna spend almost 50€ shipping for a cap worth 25€.

Anyway you can redeem some cool stuff outside the razerstore, which is fine and you can avoid crazy shipping fee.

Yes, and that is like 70zsilver total per week, add this to razer cortex daily and you still cant get anything before your silver start to expire :smile_:

U gotta chill out dude. I believe they might be looking at reworking the whole program. Might come back even better who knows? If u are not willing to wait you could join the raffle I think. Get a chance to score some sick loot. All the best bro

even if they are working on new solutions they should resign from '1 year expiration' because right now it does not make any sense
I am new to the forums and am too late for this feature, however dose anyone know if they will be implementing a new way to earn silver by playing games?
I feel that with this current system, zSilver earned should not expire. The zSilver gain just from daily logins is way too little.
What's the point of dismissing free stuff?

It's possible, but probably not. Currently it's just from using Razer services and buying games through Razer.
RIP, P2P. I still miss you, baby. Call me sometime :wink_:
@RazerGwynbleidd

Hello,
It has been a little over five months now since the Razer P2P has been suspended. Is there any new information that you can update us with, even if it is minor information? Such as,

1) We plan on bringing P2P back, but in an updated version.

2) There will be an announcement with the final decision at the six month mark (Sep. 1st).

3) P2P is coming back as an "Opt In" service, everyone is in an "Opt Out" state from the beginning of the new launch. Once they review the P2P guidelines and understand the updated format and conditions they can then "Opt In" and begin earning rewards like before. To those who do not like the new updated P2P system, it is simple, you don't have to do anything. Just continue on to game and/or interact with the community like you have been doing before. There are no penalties for not wanting to join the updated P2P system, via the new "Opt In" choice. All those who do not "Opt In" do not have to worry about the P2P service, policies, points system, rewards and engaging in P2P community growth forums, threads, and feed back. Simply put, "Opt In" if you want to be involved in Razers New P2P service, or do nothing and you will not be bothered by the new P2P service. Its that simple.

4) There is no new news, we have know idea if we will ever come to a conclusion this year, 2019 and 2020 is still far fetched of a time to reach a decision, its on our farthest back burner, let your souls rest and consider Razers P2P dead.

Even a little information can mean a lot.

Thanks and have a great day.
We need information about P2P. :wink_:

I understand you so much, the BlackWidow i expected will become an Ornata.
It's so hard to earn zSilver now. Ever since the Paid-to-Play was suspended. Can we please bring this back together with the Mogul arena gambling?
Userlevel 7
I think they won't bring it back until thet can achieve a better control in order to limit the abuse and double account.
Nooooooo I just learned I could get more products for free even though I have been a razer user for atleast 3 years 😑 hope you bring it back guys

RIght now as things stand, you might have more luck if you try and chat up @Dekades instead. 🙂

It's extremely likely it'll never come back, too many people exploiting it and it'd be too difficult to try to stop. Saw this in the Mogul chat today and it sounds like people have multiple accounts there also, This is why we can't have nice things.:frown_: But oh well the zGold part of the program is great and the whole zVault as it is now is still sweet.

Userlevel 7
Makes me want to puke.
At that time i thought that you'd to own a razer stuff connected to cortex to gain silvers with P2P...
Do some of you know an hitman or two, so that i can send them to his house ?
The only negative feedback I'd ever have for it was never having enough silver 😛. That said, I eagerly await the return of this program or something similar in the future
Userlevel 7
Can't say that you'll earn 300k silvers but i suggest you to go to https://mogularena.com/.
If you're good on picking up the winner of the e-sport matches, you can win a great amount of silvers.

I've been granted 2.5k today for being in the top 100 of the week. And that's not the first time it happens.
It's not that hard if you choose with care.

If you can make it 3 times a month, you can earn 90k in a year, with cortex login, bonus from Insider and some buy with Zgold you can redeem some great poducts.

He should be banned from Mogul Arena so, or at least don't give him the possibility to earn zSilver.
If razer wants, they can report him and ask for refund via legal way, if i'm correct there was like a "contract" for earn zSilver that you had to accept and multi accounts was forbidden.
He admits that he cheated, so I hope Razer will do something to this guy (like what happen to a kid that cheat on fortnite https://www.theverge.com/2018/5/9/17333292/fortnite-cheater-lawsuit)
Leehm
Don't know why people would give negative feedback when they are receiving something for free(exclude shipping fee).
Weird:rolleyes::rolleyes:

A lot of people when P2P was a thing used to abuse this method and Razer had no idea how to deal with them. Also since with P2P you could make 900 zSilver per day and people had multiple accounts the issues and the negative feedback from people that just wanted to play and get something as a reward started rising. Oh there were also people reselling things redeemed with zSIlver. I think P2P will never come back since some of theese problems are actually impossible to deal with.

I hope you will find a way to get through all the issues that P2P caused and get back the service in a new way. A lot of problems you had in the past from P2P were pretty hard to deal with but the majoirty of the comunity wants P2P back. P2P days were gold days.
