About the Paid to Play Suspension.

We created Paid to Play as an opportunity for gamers to get rewarded, just by gaming. Since the program’s launch, over 1B zSilver has been exchanged and over 35,000 rewards redeemed by our fans.

We’re always listening to the community, and everyone’s feedback is important to us. With an increasing amount of negative feedback on the Paid to Play program, we’re going to be taking a hard look into the overall program and mechanics to do right for you and all the gamers who participated. While we take time to develop ways to make it rewarding and beneficial for all, we will suspend the Paid to Play program, effective March 1, 2018. In the event that we are unable to provide a satisfactory solution, the program will be suspended indefinitely.

Making Razer zSilver the rewards credits for gamers has always been our goal, and we’re constantly working on ways to introduce more rewards to earn zSilver. With over 50 rewards on the Razer zSilver catalog, kindly note that rewards will always be on a first-come, first-served, while stocks last basis.

If you’re a step away from redeeming your next Razer reward, here are other ways to earn zSilver:

• Using Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider
• Logging in daily on Razer Cortex
• Syncing your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
• Subscribing to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to be introduced soon

We thank you for supporting Paid to Play, and welcome all feedback and suggestions on this thread. Should you have any other questions about Paid to Play, please write in to Razer Support or refer to our FAQs here.

RIP...
The people who were being negative about this program are either A. too poor to afford a PC and/or the games required to play to earn zSilver or B. just being trolls due to being A.^

Don't know why people would give negative feedback when they are receiving something for free(exclude shipping fee).
Weird:rolleyes::rolleyes:

people who aren't very smart do such things. There in lies a mental problem with those people and sadly, Razer is taking their side besides their true loyal fans.

We'd like to thank our fans who have supported the Paid to Play program.

No way! we must thank you Razer for giving us the chance of getting free Razer gear by doing what we like most! Playing our video games! and for that Thank you so much Razer!

It's weird to think this way... the amount of time, electricity bill, and shipping fee just to get a reward; then sell them on eBay is crazy. I didn't do any research on how much profit could you earn by doing that but I believe it wouldn't be an excellent return on investment (ROI).

Before the increase in zSilver rewards pricing, it took at least 139 days to redeem a single Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 and now it took 195 days with the P2P program. I don't see any significant benefit in AFK gaming or fake been active on Insider actually do any benefits to the someone who is looking for profit.

And even if people were doing the P2P just to sell stuff on eBay, who cares? I mean, I get why Razer themselves might care since they basically lose money on everything that gets redeemed through the zSilver store, but since this whole thing was the result of fans complaining...I just don't get it. If someone gets cool Razer gear for free and hocks it on eBay, why should I care about that? I love my Razer stuff; what other people do with theirs has zero impact on my life and my enjoyment of Razer products.
> Can't earn anymore Zsilver through playing games come March.

>Points still countdown to expiration regardless of the fact that we can't earn more towards our next redemption.

>Don't have enough points to redeem the gear I've been saving up for since well before the 12-month redemption policy came into effect.

GOOOOOOOOOOD.

Edit: I have to stress this even further, if you're going to suspend the program, suspend it all the way: our 12 month point expiration should be on hold beginning March 1st, and resume if/when you decide to start letting us earn a meaningful amount of zsilver again. Anything less is just telling us that all that zsilver is meaningless, and you can pull it out from us at anytime.

One of some to many problems was that some needed to indeed complain that they have to invest into and pay shipping fees....I my self can't understand such negativity?!
On my behalf I'm finally owning a Razer keyboard after a couple of years, and even so I work 9h a day I got bills and depits to pay and still got mouths to feed too. So like on most students and others my money is rather short not beiing able to do great savings that are not invested in to food and household etc, well the necessary. The set my head in to other things than just work and money problems I distract my self occasionally with gaming and having the feeling that I can aswell benifit for doing something helps a lot too.
With out this program I still wouldn't be the proud owner of a Razer keyboard and I'm super thankful to @mltan and Razer in general that the P2P program even exist and made everything possible.
But since some aren't seemingly in this or a likely situation, I can asume that a lot probably won't understand the greatful ness that they have from P2P while other know how to respect it.
Hope the P2P will continue with benefits for us all and leave the miners and trolls behind!!!

sad to hear this...wonder why there are so many ungrateful people...
by the way, keep it up and dont let the negative over you Razer, we always be with your side!

If you spend 5 hours a day “farming”... why not just do a part time job for a few days and buy the Kraken outright?

part time job bro? my job occupied most of my day time and i have to pay rental and car loan. and taking a family.

🙂
Sad to hear, a lot of time taken to use paid to play it was a way for me to get more razor products.
Well that's true about selling on eBay, some ppl dont play fair, bot and so on, however i was collecting my zsilver for very long, and i got enough for Hammerhead V2 however i like running and i thought it would be great to buy BT version, slowly i was getting closer, then the prices rised, and i was like ohhh, but it was ok, however now as p2p will be suspended it will take years to gather zsilver for sth bigger, hope they add some other ways to earn zsilver.
I'm just thankful for the couple mouse pads and stuff that I have earned through zSilver. Unfortunate that others have to suffer when people aren't excellent, but...Well, guess we can't do too much. Just hope whatever comes after still lets us fanboys get some cool gear. Maybe eventually I'll get that Orbweaver ;P
Wow, that's too bad, really. My only issue with the P2P is that it takes me forever to earn big points, mainly because I can't spend hours and hours on the PC gaming. I have a job and family to take care of, so my time is more limited. Other than that, why complain about getting free stuff at a nominal shipping price? That's just crazy. A "special" few just have to ruin it for everyone else. 😞
Hi everyone!

So as you have heard, there will be a paid to play suspension happening soon, March 1st to be exact. And I would like to share my opinion on it.

First off, I think the whole paid to play thing is awesome. It allows me to, you guessed it, get paid to play my games. Of course it has some work that needs to be done, more integrated games, etc. But as a whole, it is a great idea. Now I don't think that it should be suspended indefinitely. I really enjoy it. I understand there are some issues that need to be addressed with it, though I haven't really been experiencing anything "off" about it. But there is always room for improvement.

Now, for someone that lives in video games, namely paladins, it's really useful. So, to all the devs working on paid to play, keep it up, you're doing great in my perspective.

I'll leave you guys with a few questions to discuss in the comments. What do you like about the whole paid to play idea? What do you dislike about it? And how do you think razer can improve on it as a whole? I would love to hear your thoughts.
rip figured out about this program a little too late 50k from what i really wanted if only id joined 2 months sooner
Why are you going to suspend the service? Instead of creating a solution to a great idea, you stop the idea.

I know I'm going to get hate for this, but really? Instead of improving the service you stop the service and blame the people that had trouble with the system?

Great. Point fingers. Its not your fault - It's our fault it wasn't working. No Beta testing as we had to beta test it for you.

Don't tell me you are no better than Ubisoft and EA. Great marketing and ideas, bad execution.
at least For those times now that come for the Suspension give us a 1800 run and x6 boost Just for the Last time we are gonna see this Please at least i want to purchase only only item for my first time
it would be my honor to purchase for my first time 😃
I suppose its late to say that I am grateful for the opportunity that Razer has given to me. A few months back I got a Razer firefly and wow is it beautiful, the reason I chose this was that its sold here in NZ for $120 which I cannot afford, without the p2p program I would not have been able to get this so thank you Razer. (sorry for bad grammar)
Just give us back the choice of game we can earn our zsilver from instead of games we never/don't own/don't wanna play. The option is simple @RazerGwynbleidd
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

It is quite sad that i cant earn zsilver by playing games, also i dont buy zgold too much there goes my plans of a razer cynosa T_T
i dont think i have seen a single negative response in this thread, so i dont see why suspending this program while its reworked is a good idea
