I still feel Razer is arriving with a product that is not anymore what gamers want on their desk this coming year.
Entering the market and not going Ultra-wide for a monitor lunched in 2019 feel to me a bit like shooting your own foot before running a Marathon...
That will leave room for the major brands to propose same gaming experience and refresh rate at a fraction of the price

I had an apple thunderbolt display that was same size and rez and upgraded in 2016 to multiple 4k monitors... I could never go back to blocky pixel land! So, this is not the product for me but it does look nice.
And Raptor? Why not pick some animal known for display or color like "conure" "peacock" or "chameleon", something like that?
Oooh, I get it! It's named after a dinosaur because of the ancient resolution that was available from other manufacturers 15+ years ago! Seriously, Apple has offered this format since 2004.

Yes. Just yes. :smile_:
Disappointing, I will stick with my S2716DG 27 which is very similar spec, but includes G-Sync. If they had made a 32-35" inc G-sync for around £800-1k would of gone with the upgrade.
Look great!

But $700 though, without G-Sync oooooooof.
That's a rip I agree
Even though it isn't G-Sync, with the news from Nvidia, some good quality screens can be compatible with this tech while not labeled as such.

It looks nice and all, but 2 things worries me:
- No G-Sync
- No VESA mount
As was stated some times aboce, NVidia is now supporting certain Freesync Monitors and you can hand-enable Freesync (without support) for all Freesync Monitors (https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2019/01/06/g-sync-displays-ces/). I would buy this monitor if it would have been a bit larger than mine (i already have a 27 inch setup and i will not replace it if it is not bigger - we have 32" monitors at work - unuseable for gaming as they are 4K or more, but with 2K at 30 inch, i would be instantly sold.
You guys inspire me to further advance my career so i can afford such beautiful gear. It’s an awesome design but far beyond my price point. I hope the whales enjoy it.
