It would be nice to have a gaming router but you know here in Italy my connection doesnt go over 5Mbps so.... Yeah maybe in the future when we get out of middle ages here i will buy it... 😡
I've really enjoyed watching Razer branch out over the years going from exclusively focused on CPU hardware to diversifying to include products tailored to fit its sole followers: gamers. Although I do love my PC, it's hard to stay permanently rooted to it while titles such as Pokemon and Halo are still out there, so I can't help but be excited to be able to better integrate Razer products into all that. Kind of a budget gamer, but the Sila is definitely gonna be an exception for me.
Yes Razer :big_grin_: You do listen to our suggestions with ideas for new Razer products :wink_: nice work and it looks awesome hope to have it soon in my home network
wait.. what
Take my money XD💸💸💸

a little bit overpriced, at least in Italy where I live. Asus and Netgear offer the same at a lower price and for sure better support and faster firmware updates...
the Design is awesome btw. is the top lighting?

It looks like it's not.

This option for prioritize your specific apps is really nice idea and ,,Dynamic Frequency Selection´´ is great benefit. Yea, I know u will get dedicated app but still i think this router is a bit overpriced.

That's clearly something unexpected from Razer.
And it's a good surprise, I may consider to buy one so my geek family could mange way better sharing the bandwich beetween each device.

I found it really interesting, should definetly give it a try.
One thing - CHROMA?

According to tech specs, doesn't seem like it.
I haven't posted on the forum in some time but after seeing this product I just had to. I'm very interested to see what Razer can bring to the table. My current profession is a network engineer, at home I have an enterprise grade firewall, switch, and AP, but my friends always ask me what I recommend for their home use. Both my employer and myself always recommend Eero for one simple reason: they work. When someone sets up an Eero system they never have issues. There is no daily/weekly/monthly reboot of the router, no dropped packets, no issues. I personally have never tested Eero I just know they work from all the people I know that use them.

I may get this system and swap it with my enterprise gear to see how well it truly works as I have a gaming advocate friend who is looking for a better system and this may be it. He doesn't want the Eero as the price is out there and so is this, but he is coming to peace with the fact that to get a system that works you have to pay.

I love seeing Razer expanding to every aspect of gaming. Peripherals, systems, mobile, and now networking. Go Razer!

Nice and simple, looks amazing.👍 Plus less space taken up by antenna's.

As much as I like "gaming" stuff, the "gaming" routers by Asus and other brands look way too crazy.

Now this is a good piece, masterfully done. It looks sick and i hope it works how it should be. GG!
sounds really nice.
Does this product come with the most important set of instructions: how to connect with Verizon FiOS? At least from an extender standpoint.

FiOS is different in that it performs as a WiFi and a router to distribute cable and internet.
Really Nice, a bit expensive compared to a magnificent RJ45 cable, but for those who have more money than I do...

Interesting but a little pricey for something without Chroma lol. It's definitely interesting but I can't say I would buy it since I have a perfectly working router at home.

A wireless network so stable, you’ll never lag mid-raid. Meet our first gaming router, Razer Sila: http://rzr.to/sila

With unique patented Razer FasTrack technology, control and prioritize your network for your games and any device that requires the best bandwidth. The Razer Sila is even versatile enough to let you prioritize between client hardware including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and more.

Cut through the network noise with Multi-Channel ZeroWait dynamic frequency selections—they open special channels that guarantee high-speed, reliable WiFi whether you’re gaming or streaming. It utilizes radar-sensing hardware that grants you exclusive access into normally-restricted bandwidth frequencies. These special channels let you beat the crowd for incredibly fast and reliable WiFi, even during peak hours.

With a second Razer Sila unit, you can activate a dual algorithm Hybrid Wireless Mesh, giving you coverage that completely blankets your home in WiFi, eliminating dead spots so you’ll get a fast uninterrupted connection no matter where you are at home. Set up to three Razer Sila units for a coverage of up to 9000 ft. A dedicated backhaul uses separate channels for backhaul traffic, leaving other bands open for maximum speed without halving throughput.
