You should update the first page to include the DA Chroma build as well as fix the information regarding that. Thanks.

It only works during big peaks in songs, so either set the amplitude higher or turn up your volume. I have my foreground set to rainbow and single color mode set to follow foreground. That worked best for me. Also make sure you installed all the files correctly.

I can't update the OP since Razer posted it. Razer|Rfx please update the link on the first page to 1.07 build posted recently.

You are using my latest build (1.07) right? The link in the first page is really outdated.

It would be cool if there was something like this for the chroma headphones! Like, the light gets brighter at louse noises, and dimmer at quite noises. When there's no sound at all, maybe there should be a very very dim light. What do you guys think?

Build 1.07 supports the Kraken 7.1 Chroma, though it's flickery due to firmware limitations that Razer is working on a fix for.

The important part in the order is that you run the .reg files after you install the SDK. I would run the x64 reg file first and then run the x86 reg file second. Then reboot.

Yes, since it looks at the output audio from the Windows sound server, any app that plays audio will work through it, including games, music players, browsers, voice chat, etc.

I tested the DA. (music is merely illustrative)

This sounds like a sound card issue, nothing to do with my program. WASAPI does not handle output device changes I don't think, so when you unplug the headphones your audio device switches to speakers and the WASAPI session ends. Does it do the same thing when my program isn't open? The "can't play the song" thing is pretty common across other media players too. Clementine (what I use) will just sit there and not play the song until the audio card is ready and I've had my USB DAC lock up a few times that prevented it from playing.
When i unplug and the program is open, they crash. When i close your program and plug. and reopen the program, i need to switch the amplitude 3x more to get the same result.;

New build! Version 1.08: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1Fq0HEJolPtQUFrZzdzZl80WGc/view?usp=sharing No new devices this time, just some feature updates: * Static background colors (White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple) * Follow Foreground background mode (flashes the background same as follow foreground single color visualizer used on logo LEDs) * Adjusted frequency scaling a bit, "zoomed in" on the lower frequencies by throwing out more samples, this is still hard coded for now * New configurable options Normalization Offset and Normalization Scale. I've had a normalization line in the code for a while, but it was hard coded. Normalization basically means a linear function applied to the frequency spectrum to try and normalize all the frequencies, so that no part of the range is overpowering (bass frequencies tend to be very overpowering). The function takes the form f(x) = (offset/100) + ((scale/100) * (x/256)) where X is the frequency band (out of 256 bands, 0 being bass and 255 being treble) and it f(x) is the normalization factor that is multiplied by that frequency band. The default values are 50, 50 which means bass frequencies are cut by 50% and it increases at a moderate rate. For bass heavy songs (hip hop, pop, dance, electronic, etc) you'll get the best response with a heavy bass reduction and a large scaling factor, something like 10, 75. For rock, country, etc. that isn't bass heavy you may be fine with 50, 50 or may even want to lessen the effect with 80, 20 or something like that. Play around with it and come up with your favorite normalization values and I'll eventually add a drop down box to pick from presets.

U have the download the reg files run x64 then x84 and reboot after reboot run the audio visualiser (don't forget to close synapse)

The visualiser Doesn't create lag but the 1.07 update was kinda better than 1.08

FFT Window mode... What it does?

And I need the normalisation number for shooting games and also electronic music

Try 10 for offset, 75 for scale, and maybe lower amplitude to 75 if its still too much. 1.08 should be considered experimental, I didn't have time to come up with good defaults so you have to mess with the normalization values to make it look good. I'll post a new build with better values after I do more testing.

I know this is something new but can we expect this to be integrated in Synapse?
