Hello folks,
Since I haven't found a program lately, which gives me an ambient effect on my Razer Ornate Chroma, I simply wrote a program myself.

Function:

  • Maps your screen to your Razer mouse, keyboard and mousepad to create an "ambient effect"
  • You can change the saturation
  • Only ca. 3-5% CPU load!

Settings can be found by right-clicking the program icon in your notification area on your task bar.

Note:
A Windows Smart Screen message may appear during installation. This tells you that my program is not signed by a certification authority recognized by Microsoft. Because these certifications cost a lot of money, which I cannot afford as a student, my program is not signed.

Hi!
I just downloaded the newest version (2.0.2) and when I try to launch the program it only shows the icon shortly in the toolbar and then disappears again. Is this something you know how to fix?

Can you update to Version 2.0.3 and try it again? If that does not work please send the log file located in C:\\Users\\yourusername\\AppData\\Roaming\\RazerAmbilight\\Logs

Yo! Awesome software! Everything works like a charm except for my Razer Goliathus Chroma Extended.

There's a default Ambient option in Synapse now that works with the HDK kit.

Probably the best update so far.. been thinking between razer nommo chroma or logitech g560 speaker (due to it's ambient lighting).. with this I might just go for razer HDK + nommo chroma

yeah they added it in the recent update.. wasn't really expecting that. but now it gives a better reason to get HDK

The software (as of 2.1.1) works wonders on my RBS 12.5 (2016) ! I've been looking for working stuff for a long time!

For another RBS owners, although keyboard is 15 keys long, if you set its resolution to 16, then the very right buttons like enter, shift and so on will light aswell.
