some keys have low white light stuck on

Hi can somebody help?

I have a razer blackwidow elite and its working fine except that seven of the keys permanently have the white led lit (even when all the other rgb is off).

The faulty keys still light up "correctly" when they should but you can still see the white light "underneath" if that makes sense.

I've played around with synapse but nothing seems to change the 7 faulty keys.

I saw a youtube vid where a similar thing was happening just on the numpad which was solved with a firmware update but with my keyboard its 7 random keys across the board and I can't get it to accept a firmware update anyway.

Anyone else had this/know anything about it? I'm new to razer.

Cheers

same problem, no solution sorry mate.
yeah i appear to be having the same issue, no matter what rbg profile i put over the top of it, my 'U' key is remaining white. The keyboard i have less than a week old so im worried it might be a keyboard issue rather than a synapse issue.
Turn off game mode that will fix it

this is the solution thank you
I have the game mode option turned off and the letter O is illuminated in white. I have tried installing razer synapse, restoring the keyboard to factory settings and logging in with a guest profile and nothing has worked

thanks it works. My "O" key was stuck on white now its ok.
I have this issue as well, (but for "N" and "1(numpad)" and neither of these solutions have worked (I took the keycaps off because it's a little hard to see otherwise). I have never had game mode on, and I have tried pressing "Fn + O" , "Fn + N" and "Fn + 1(numpad)". If anyone could help that would be great.
