Hi, I was using the Visulaizer earlier today and it was working fine. Then when I went to turn on my computer it wasn't working. It showed in the program that it was working with the sound but my keyboard and mouse wasn't doing anything! Anyone know how to fix?

Version 3.00 is out! New features include more effect modes, reactive (flashing to music, like single color mode) background toggle, audio device selector (both loopback and input devices), improved network synchronization if you set it up to sync between two PCs, and a Linux version (uses third party Razer drivers, as there's no official SDK, plus you have to build the Linux version yourself with QTCreator at the moment as I don't yet know how to create my own packages).

It should ask if you want to add the contents to the registry, you must say yes.



Set single color mode to follow foreground.

Yes, I dad that to both Reg files. But still nothing happens.

hey calc its rocking man! jus wanted to say 1.08 felt better like when I play SA:MP after logging in there is a loud beep so it used to light up in 1.08 but now it doesn't and before I used to drive these vehicles with heavy rumbling engines itused to come as dim pink nothing now can u tell me settings for getting the same as before thanks! 🙂

Go onto Razer Synapse and turn on 'CHROMA APPS'.

Really like the new update! Just one question, On my Mamba TE the side light bars chang colors according to the music, But the Scroll wheel and the Razer logo just stay white, No matter what i do to try to change it.

Do you have the latest version? 3.04? You can save settings in that version. The older version you couldn't.

What if You are plaing games and listening to music at the same time? What Visualizer will it show us? Music from game or music witch we are listerning to?

Look up WS2812B strips on eBay and get one with 30 LEDs. As for the Arduino any standard 16MHz Arduino will work, including the cheap eBay clones. I'm running my strip off a cheap eBay CH340G based Nano clone. Programming is easy, in my GitHub link I have an Arduino sketch you can program using the Arduino software so you don't actually have to write any code yourself. Make sure you remember what COM port your Arduino shows up as and then add it to the command line parameters like ledstrip=COM1. You can add multiple COM ports if you have more than one Arduino strip connected. Right now it's limited to 30 LED strips only, any more and only the first 30 will work and any less and the pattern won't be symmetrical. Also all the other command line options are broken on 1.13 so I need to post a new build to fix this.


Going back to your original post, I have wired them up - What should I do now to get them to work? I have the visualizer open and playing music, do I need to create some sort of batch file/executable? I have uploaded the .ino file to the arduino, unless there's something on there that needs changing

Hey @JoshBGaming , @ParkourEDM and @bluemoonman99

Have you guys also followed through the 2nd to 4th steps too? Installing the SDK Core Files along with enabling the SDK Registry files are important steps.

After changing your effects to the default lighting profiles, you can also exit Synapse to be doubly sure.


This is still an very early build so fret not! Things will get easier in the future :)

@CalcProgrammer1 will also be taking in your feedbacks into consideration for future versions.

Thats nice! it works for me but even if I got the Amplitude on 100% I have to turn up my Windows Volume to 100% to get the effect shown in the video. I have to turn my Speakers down to like 1-5% and thats not how it should be I guess. But this version works better than the old one! Good Job :D

Would love to see this and other effects like the (Philips) "Ambilight" on Synapse soon.

The BlackWidow is vertical but since the DeathStalker only has 6 LED zones horizontally, the only effect I could make for it was a horizontal bar effect. The BlackWidow has an LED for each key, the DeathStalker only has 6 LEDs, each for a horizontal column of around 3 keys each.

You need build 1.13 (have the code for 1.14 ready that fixes the command line but haven't posted it yet). Then find the COM port of your Arduino and make a shortcut to 1.13. Add ledstrip=COMX (putting the correct number of your COM port for COMX) to the end of the Target field and then launch the program using the shortcut. The Tx LED on the Arduino will blink rapidly if it's working.

Everything works fine but whenever I close the window, the background remains the same and if there are sounds going on while I close it, the bars just freeze on the keyboard, how would I fix this? Reopen and close the window till it turns back to my synapse profiles? Or do I have to turn off synapse and then open and close Audio Visualizer or etc?

You have to keep the window open for it to work. You can minimize it by left clicking on the program in the taskbar.
