OK I have spent the past 9 hours trying to figure out why the Audio Visualizer doesn't work I've installed, uninstalled, updated, repaired searched through hours of forums for nothing to work so I decided to try the one thing everywhere says NOT to do....

1st I uninstalled synapse
2rd restarted my pc
3rd installed the vc_redist.x86.exe
4th installed the Razer_Chroma_SDK_Core_v1.7.2.exe
5th ran the KeyboardVisualizerVC 1.16 (works perfectly)
7th closed the KeyboardVisualizerVC 1.16
6th redownloaded and installed the latest Razer_Synapse_Framework_V1.20.15.29263_v2.exe
7th restarted my PC

Everything now works perfectly....

No need to shut down the Synapse to play music it's already installed in the Chroma apps..

PS I did use Your Uninstaller on super mode to uninstall synapse
(FYI all my profiles did save after reinstall of Synapse)


ALSO this program runs off 32 bit only so no need to install 64 bit ...
I run 64 bit but you must install the vc_redist.x86.exe anyways

Please help me i have tried everything ive tried to uninstall razer synapse and keybaord visualizer multiple times and have tried almost every single solution but none of them works im using a blackwidow chroma i really want to impress my sister since she bought me the keyboard please reply.

I did everything right BUT instead of having visualized music on my chroma v2 ... my mouse logitech g600 started to visualize it ... what's wrong ?


I have no useful information for you - however, this statement made me laugh!! I can only imagine the shock of thinking you were going to get your Razer keyboard working correctly with the chroma and suddenly your Logitech mouse started doing it instead. LOL -- sounds like a shared API somewhere. hehehe

ok I tried reinstalling all of the files so I found out that when I install the SDK cores it shows cant write Rzchromasdk.dll can u post a backup for yours?


That's probably because it's in use. Close my app, uninstall the SDK from add/remove programs, and then try reinstalling.

Using it on my Firefly & Mamba TE - great stuff! One thing though: is there a way to save default settings? (amplitude, delay, etc)

I recall encountering this issue a few months ago! :eek_:

By any chance, is your amplitude in the audio visualizer not set?

If not, try setting it to 200 and see if it works.

Tried that already, didn't work. It doesn't seem to interact with the keyboard at all.

Hi, I tried to use the visualizer, I have the razer ornata chroma and the razer mamba chroma TE. It detects my mamba but not the ornata, is it just not compatible yet?

this isn't working on my razer blackwidow chroma stealth edition. is it because it's stealth? i don't think so, and it doesn't even make sense tbh. what happens is the keyboard visualizer works, cause it picks up the sound waves but it doesn't transmit them to the chroma, maybe i'm just missing some parts, but it doesn't seem to work

I just did in order what you said. Same thing still happens.
Am I right in just opening the reg files? Nothing special to do?

Please help....

It was working before but last couple of days the visualiser has stopped working 😞 The visualizer comes up and shows the sound, but the keyboard does nothing - it doesn't even turn off to a blank slate 😞

im using the deathstalker chroma, and it works, but the audio is coming from the left side to the right side, not starting at the bottom ,going to the top, like in the video. any way to fix this?

Hey, when the audio visualizer support Blackwidow X TE ?
cause i just notice that blackwidow X don't have the visualizer

If not where can I get it for Blackwidow X? (I'm pretty sure there's a visualizer for blackwidow x I saw it on the razer facebook)

As far as i know, yes it does work on the Blackwidow X. You can download it on Razers Chroma Workshop, Or on the official GitHub page for Audio Visualizer.

Did you try to go into the Chroma Apps section in Razer Synapse? Make sure Chroma apps are on, And make sure it is registering the Audio Visualizer, And that it is not disabled.

The Ornata and Mamba TE are supported in the visualizer, According to the Github page. Don't know why it is not registering your Ornata. Maybe try to Restart your PC. That fixes some problems like that for me.

Hey guys, I apologize.

Right now, we only have support for the Mamba TE, Blackwidow Chroma and Firefly.

BUT fret not, we will potentially see an update coming with more products supported 🙂 This is still an early build! We will keep you guys updated.

I see, thats why i cant make it work with my BWCTE. Anyways im looking forward for the another update hoping that it will support BWCTE and DeathAdder Chroma 🙂

Nope, that's how the DeathStalker works. It only has 6 lighting zones so it can't do the spectrograph effect.

Not working with Ornatha v2 (Destiny 2 Edition) my Destiny 2 Mice work fine. But the Destiny 2 Keyboard isnt responding to the Audio.

It should ask if you want to add the contents to the registry, you must say yes.

Set single color mode to follow foreground.
