Appengine not showing 7.1 or THX after purchase

Very similar issue to that posted here: 


Despite having both 7.1 and THX installed, the AppEngine application does not show either option, or indeed any option apart from loggin in or out. Meanwhile on Synapse 4, attempting to press the ‘launch’ button to ‘unlock my device’s full potential’ (activate 7.1 surround) does nothing, presumably as a result of the aforementioned issues with AppEngine.

As you can see, the application is not displaying either option. This seems to be a widespread problem, judging from the number of similar questions posted. Would appreciate assistance with this, as well as a solution that might benefit others with the same issue in the future.​​

Just bumping this. Have done some more research and am now very much aware that there are many similar instances of this occurring on Synapse, even going back a year. 

I’m not necessarily looking for the problem to be solved within an unreasonably short timeframe. Fixing things takes time. However, some acknowledgement of the issue would be helpful in managing the expectations of myself and other customers experiencing the same problem. 

So far I’ve spent money on a service which doesn’t work, and the only mechanism for solving it seems to be these forums. I would be grateful for any kind of communication. 


Finally found the issue and resolved it. It was the same issue as described here: 


I would think that install/uninstall process might have prevented this from manifesting in th​e first place, but I’m happy at least it works again.  This topic can be closed.​​​​​​
