Barracuda Pro - synapse no longer saving any settings in Enhancement Tab

Synapse no longer saving my settings for Barracuda pro Enhancement tab

  •  Restart the computer and Audio Equaliser is back to default.

In addition to that 

  • Base boost does not work at all. 
  • Sound Normalisation does not work at all.
  • Voice Clarity does not work at all.

The same problem after the last update with THX fix. 

Did you figure out how to fix it? I’m gonna reach their support, again

Nope, still broken for me.

Yeah you can contact lazy razer but I am sure they are aware of it and haven't fixed it. In my experience all they do is ask you for the basic troubleshooting and then logs etc to give you the impression that they are trying to help but in reality they already know the issue and are useless slow to fix it. 

if is still doing it then just keep it running in the background and see if it keeps the same. if that doesn't work then I would recommend that you uninstall and reinstall razer synapse

You sir enlightened me with your answer with uninstall/reinstall, seriously you didn't think I did that already? That's the first thing done when troubleshooting. I even fresh installed windows. 

 

1. It keeps the settings while running but doesn't apply the settings 

2. It turns the settings off after computer reboots

 

Please try to be helpful instead of  giving typical support responses like "turn it off and back on again"

same problem, it not your fault, no need to re install anything, it their driver issues. today razer synapse updated but they not update Barracuda Pro, very dissapointed. i feel so waste money on this. we bought razer flagship headset but so many problems and very very slow fix. first THX not working = 1 month until it fixed.

now enchantments tab not working = dont know when it will fix

Yeah very disappointed, I use the bass boost so much, which I can't anymore. Now I am questioning myself why I have sooo many of razer products. These headphones are not cheap. razer is pushing me to make a decision to not to buy any of their products ever again. I also have issues with their sound bar, it's just sitting there unplugged.  1 or 2 bad experiences are enough to put you off any brand.  

 

And yes no eta, they don't even bother to comment back to your post, at least they can give us an ETA as this forum is called RAZER SUPPORT for god sake

this is terrible, the equalizer has not worked for more than 2 months

Yes, with the fix for the broken THX they broke all the eq settings. Even if the Slider for boosts is visible it isnt working…

Yeah, at least a comment that this issue is known or something like that would be great. But silince is the worst option to give the community or consumer. 

Imagine the case, some is unsure about buying this headset and searches for issues and finds this thread….

I have the same issue for 3-4 months not. Unresovled. Support is just sending me typical BS. I asked for at least to be provided a code for Spatial audio it’s 20 bucks, but they won’t give me.

 

I think it’s time to switch headphones.

Yeah it broke for me when they fixed THX audio tab, it's a software issue. How can you fix one tab and break the other. Support has a pattern of asking BS and that's all they are good for. They already have logs and everything and they know exactly what the issue.

Yeah I really like Barracuda Pros, I think it’s a great headset…. But the software is horrible lately. They just killed THX Spatial Audio when it comes to bass boost and so on. I really wish Razer would take better care of their customers.
