Chroma Audio Visualizer no longer lights up bottom row of keys on Blackwidow V3 Halo Ed keyboard

Ace_Mace

Everything about the audio visualizer works and reacts to audio fine except the very bottom row of keys and strangely the very right column of keys on my keyboard don’t light up. As if its a bottom right corner boarder. However the left column and top row of keys light up and react fine.

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

I'm using Razer Synapse 4 with my BlackWidow V4, and the software is an absolute trainwreck. The audio visualizer keeps turning itself off like it has a mind of its own, and every time I restart, wake the PC from sleep, or come back from hibernation, it randomly assigns some other profile I didn’t ask for. It's like the software is actively trolling me.

And now, just to add insult to injury, the bottom row and right column of the keyboard LEDs have completely stopped working , right after one of glorious updates a few days ago. Coincidence? Highly doubt it.

At this point, it feels like the entire Synapse team is just pushing broken updates for fun. Honestly, fire the whole team and open up the API to the community - hobbyist devs could build something 10x better for free and with more passion than whatever mess this is. You're selling premium hardware shackled to beta-level software. Fix it, or let the community do what your team clearly can’t.

Guys, I have the same problem! After switching from Razer Synapse 3 to Razer Synapse 4, when running Chroma Visualizer on my Razer Blade 16, the bottom row on the keyboard doesn't work at all. When you turn off the Chroma Visualizer, everything starts to work. Does anyone know where to contact? It's an unpleasant bug. I want it to work.😞

Lrbrownii

Reported this a while back. I would have to dig through my many cases to find it. It's there somewhere. I'm way ahead of you guys and barely making progress. Help report this!

GhosterVillain

hey guys i found the solution. go to desktop and then navigate to PERSONALIZE and go to DYNAMIC LIGHTING and disable all and scroll down until you see EFFECTS and please select solid color option. it solve my problem and i hope it solved yours too.

Hi Ace_Mace and the current and future Insiders who will comment on this thread. I suggest submitting a case through our support page, including a video showing the issue. Save the file to any online hosting site, then paste the shareable link in the email thread once you have created a ticket, as the team needs to gather all the affected users and get the Synapse logs as well. I appreciate your cooperation.

Friends! I didn't do anything, I turned on Chroma Visualizer again, it worked correctly! Was there a patch?

I wanted to try GhosterVillain's way. In the end, I didn't even have to try.🎉🎊

*UPDATE*
Seems there might’ve been a fix as it works normally on my keyboard now.
After shutting down all the apps and restarting them i got a short update screen and now the visualizer works.
Not sure if that’ll be the case for everyone but good chance its fixed

Had this same issue for over a month. Reported it and got no where when the forum support guy opened a case for me. Just that they were aware and working on it.

However, I updated my motherboard BIOS recently (MSI MPG x870E Carbon WiFi) with the BIOS released on 7-28-2025. And guess what MAGICALLY started working again on my Huntsman Elite?

You guessed it. Chroma Audio Visualizer began lighting up the entire bottom row of keys (spacebar and all adjacent) and my wrist rest underglow!

Such a perplexing problem. Other Chroma visualizers would light them up. Chroma Studio custom lighting would light them up. But Audio Visualizer? Nah.

I didn’t even do a BIOS update when it decided to not work at the bottom of the keyboard anymore. Just gamed and used my PC like any other day. Then one evening, the fire nation attacked.
