Hi everyone,I am having an issue with the dedicated Hypershift button on my Razer Tartarus V2 Pro. I decided to reassign this button to be my "Space" key instead of Hypershift.The key mapping works, but every time I press it, it still triggers the hardcoded Hypershift lighting effect: it turns off the RGB on all my keys except key "19". The actual Hypershift secondary functions do not trigger (which is correct since I reassigned it), but the lighting still behaves as if I am pressing a Hypershift modifier.Because I am using this button as "Space", it is very distracting to have my entire device go dark every time I press it.My questions are: Is this a known bug in Synapse for the Tartarus V2 Pro? (The lighting shouldn't trigger if the button is no longer assigned to Hypershift). Is there any workaround to stop this button from turning off the lights, so I can use it normally as a Spacebar? Hi, over the last month or so, I’ve had issues with the CTRL key not working on my Cynosa Chroma keyboard.  For example, pressing CTRL-C or CTRL-V just types ‘C’ or ‘V’.  Whenever I stop the Razer Chroma  app, the CTRL key functions normally.  When I press Fn-F9, the CTRL key also works again for a period of time.  Is there a more permanent fix for this, other than no longer running with the Chroma app?  I want to keep using the Chroma app so I can have the keyboard lighting.  Thanks!

I got the newly released V4 Pro with the V2 dock a couple days ago.  First of all the battery doesn’t last a single day (1000hz @ 40% RGB brightness). I got to work today with a full battery, and while using the standard USB 2.4ghz dongle 8 hours later the battery is already on 5%. My Viper Ultimate from 5 years ago still lasts longer than this today…At home the V2 dock/charging is sluggish, with lighting profiles getting bugged out when placing on/off the dock. There’s a 10-15 second delay when docking the mouse before it begins charging, and when my PC is off the mouse on the dock doesn’t charge (again my old Viper + Dock always charged immediately and when my PC was shutdown) Surely these are just software bugs right? Either way it’s a pretty poor show for a brand-new mouse from a company as well established as Razer. I like the mouse, but this stuff is just unacceptable.

Hi,I'm hoping someone here can help because I've exhausted most of the usual troubleshooting options, and I'm struggling to find any information about performing a proper hardware reset on this headset.Device: Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023), PC version.How the issue startedEverything was working normally until I connected the headset to my iPhone via Bluetooth. I had also temporarily removed the detachable microphone.After reconnecting the microphone and using SmartSwitch to return to 2.4 GHz wireless mode on my PC, the headset continued playing audio normally, but the microphone initially stopped working.I opened Razer Synapse 4 to investigate and discovered that it was reporting the headset as disconnected or powered off, despite the headset being powered on and actively playing audio through the USB wireless dongle.The microphone eventually started working again, but the other issues remain.Current symptoms1. Head tracking repeatedly loses and reacquires me every 15–30 seconds at approximately 3 feet, centered. Audio remains uninterrupted. The issue persists over Bluetooth with USB disconnected and after updating firmware. Any ideas?

Hello, I have a Basilisk V3 Pro and I noticed that even when the scroll wheel is set to Free-Spin mode, I can still feel a slight notched or ratcheting sensation when spinning the wheel quickly.I expected the wheel to spin completely freely and smoothly in this mode, without any noticeable detents.Is this normal behavior for the Basilisk V3 Pro, or could it indicate a mechanical issue? Is there any setting I should check?Ty

Hi there,The problem I'm having right now is that the computer won't charge. However, the LED indicator on the power supply is on. Hi,Have had my Razer 15 Advanced Model since 2021. Has been a phenomenal machine, and have loved every second I have owned it.Unfortunately, like a number of other posts, the battery has started to swell. I have removed this already, and responsibly disposed of the swollen battery. Understandably, this is inevitable with these sorts of batteries, however finding a genuine/authorised replacement is proving incredibly difficult. Are you able to check your inventory and advise whether there is a replacement battery available, and I will order one. Many thanks in advance for your assistance. 

i connected usb to my pc and install synapse4. but it keep saying that my device is sleep mode. i tried my device update and connect usb to anther port but all of my effort did not work at all. what should i do? sorry my English. 

I recently received a new Barracuda X Chroma headset at the beginning of september, headset worked fine for a while but then randomly it started crackling and popping, constantly, doesnt matter what I do. I tried different cables, different usb ports, tried different combinations of new cables with the usb-c adapter, I tried moving the dongle further away from my other wireless receivers, it does it all the time and its infuriating. I dont know if this headset is defective or what, I tried updating the firmware, I updated synapse, I even tried running it without synapse and uninstalled it. Still does it no matter what, and I am at the point where Id rather just buy a different headset than deal with this anymore. If anyone knows what the hell is going on with this id love some advice, and yes it does it on another PC, doesnt matter what PC its connected to, the only time I can get it to work without the crackling and popping is when its connected to bluetooth on my phone.  I've been experiencing a strange issue with my Viper V4 Pro and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen something similar.The problemAfter moving the mouse and then leaving it completely still, there seems to be a 5-10% chance that the mouse enters some kind of bugged state.Once it happens:The wireless dongle never goes to sleep. Windows thinks there is constant activity, so the monitor never turns off automatically. If I'm watching a fullscreen video with the cursor hidden, the cursor pops up every few seconds. The issue persists indefinitely until I move the mouse again.Interestingly, if the bug does NOT occur after I stop moving the mouse, everything works normally and the mouse can stay idle for hours without triggering it.Reproduction patternEvery "move → stop" cycle is basically a new attempt:Move the mouse. Generally the Leviathan V2 will encounter this detection problem if there is an interruption in power delivery when it’s powered on, I tested this to be true by unplugging it from the wall while its turned on and connected to my pc.Make sure that your plugging the leviathan directly to the wall and not in an extension cable to help avoid this issue from happening randomly.But if it occurs, I found one replicable way to fix the the issue:Press + and - volume buttons and  the power button together until it powers off to perform a hard reset. Unplug all cables (Typically; Power, USB C and Subwoofer) Hold the power button briefly to drain power (you may see a slight power flash in the RGB) Plug only the power back in, turn it on and test the source switch button (furthest left button), if it freely switches from green to blue then your good to go. If it does not, repeat the steps until it does, it takes me usually around 10 attempts until it starts working again with some outliers.

I have had my Leviathan V2 Pro for awhile and occasionally had an issue where the source couldn’t be changed from USB to Bluetooth/vice versa but hard resetting, unplugging cables, holding power button to drain the battery would work after a few attempts but I have just tried that no less than 30 times and I still can’t change source/connect to my PC. I have tried different cables and everything; no go. I need help figuring out how to get this thing back to functioning.

Hello,Using Blackshark V3, when playing CPU/GPU demanding games like battlefield 2042 or Pragmata, thought games launch normally up to the main screen, after some time in-game or a random loading (ex. In-game death screen), I will suddenly either loose all sound on them or get a fail of all usb peripheral and ports except built in keyboard and touchpad, all these being followed by total system crash and automatic restart. This is happening nearly every time and only when the headset is connected. Games such as Minecraft work normally.  From the day I got the Blackshark V3 I kept getting problems, such as synapse 4 macro module interfering with my aula f75 wireless keyboard input. Ended up deleting macro module, disabling synapse 4 from startup apps (as it uses too much ram) and disabling all razer background services.  Hardware details:Blackshark V3 (received on 2/10/2026)Windows 11Dell G15RTX 4060 8GBIntel i7-13650hx16GB Ram 

Hello, Someone has a clue then the Firmware will released on the website?  Read many post about fried mouses… my old one got fried too and my new one is start lagging again… had to uninstall synapse so I could use it normaly without the flicks & lags…

Hello Razer Support Team,I am experiencing a critical issue with my BlackShark V3 headset following the latest firmware update. I have been trying to resolve this for hours without success.The Problem: The headset works perfectly via Bluetooth on my phone, which confirms the hardware is functional. On PC, the dongle is detected by Windows and Razer Synapse. In Windows Sound Settings, I can see the green audio bars moving, but there is absolutely no sound reaching the headset speakers and the microphone is not picking up any voice. I am hearing unusual "beep... beep-beep... beep" sequences when turning on the headset while connected to the dongle. What I Have Already Tried: Used the Razer Pairing Utility; it says "Pairing Successful," but the issue persists. Tried standard Firmware Updater v1.3.0, but it says the device is already up to date and won't allow a re-flash.
