My Deathadder v2 is showing as HID compliant mouse

Hi, Just recently I bought A Razer Deathadder v2 and have been having problems connecting to chroma. I later realised that this was because it was an HID compliant mouse not a Deathadder. Is there any ways to make my laptop recognise the mouse as a Deathadder not a HID mouse??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
