Raptor 27 165 Hz not showing in Synapse 4.0

Razor Raptor 27” QHD 165 Hz stopped showing up in Synapse after the 4.0 update. It was showing in the beta before official rollout. It isn’t detected via the included USB-C cable connected to my desktop, but my Kiyo that is connected to the monitor via the included USB-A port does show up in my devices list. I can no longer update the firmware or change Chroma settings for the monitor.

Try to clean reinstall Synapse:

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

But it can be also bug in Synapse 4, so you can report it via clicking on your profile icon (right top) and selecting Feedback.

Did you by chance try to connect it via hdmi too?
I got a similar issue in synapse 3. The monitor is not detected in synapse while on usb-c cable but appears right away if I plug it via hdmi.

Hello, I have the same issue!

I just got the Razer Freyja, and then, asked me to update to razer synapse 4.0

then all my devices, was transferred to the new synapse, but only my razer monitor, wasn't showing.

gone to device manager, and its all ok! no issue with the monitor drive.

i went to the

Applicable Models

Firmware v1.01.01_r1

updated the drive, and then updated it!

but still nothing…. hope they fix soon xD

I have this with my 27” Raptor 144HZ too. All fine on Synapse 3, but doesn't show in 4, yet devices connected to its USB hub do show up!!?

I've tried all the recommended steps but still doesn't work. I've uninstalled Synapse 4 and gone back to 3 and its showing up there fine.

So no Synapse 4 for me lol

Having this issue as well. Synapse 4 was definetly not tested before release. I can´t see my Razer Raptor, and (unrelated, but) my Blackshark V2 got a lagged sidetone that makes them unusable, rolling back to Synapse 3 fixes the Raptor but the Blackshark issue still persists after updating. It´s a mess.

On my desktop, I have 2 Raptor 144hz and 1 Raptor 165hz.

On my laptop,  I have 1 Raptor 144hz.

My daughter's desktop has 1 Raptor 165hz.

None of the Raptor 144hz are showing up in Synapse 4 or Razer Chroma. But the Raptor 165hz monitors do.

about the Raptor, 165hz, what is connected ?  all the 3 monitors the same connection ? or one is display, another hdmi ?

All 3 are connected via display port, and the usb-c connection is to the Razer Thunderbolt dock.
