Razer Kiyo Pro on Max - video lag issue

I am using a Kiyo Pro webcam on my Macbok Pro (M1 processor) and when I am on Zoom, my video stream regularly pauses for a second or two and then goes back to streaming. This pause happens as frequently as multiple times per minute and leads to some very awkward positions of my face midstream. I understand I cannot utilize the Synapse software because 3.0 isn't available on MacBook and 2.0 doesn't recognize the device so I haven't had an opportunity to tweak the settings to see if that helps. I have the alternative app on my mac called Webcam Settings that allows me to make some adjustments but nothing on here helps either. Please let me know if you've also had this issue on Macs with this camera and if anyone has found a solution.
