Macros with special characters like ! @ # $ % do not seem to work without Synapse running.

These type of macros work fine without Synapse on my Naga V1 but not V2 Pro.

At least it is improving.

Can anyone try to create macros with special characters and check if they work without Synapse running?

Just wanted to throw in that I am having the exact same problem with my brand new naga pro v2. No profiles will save to the device, the loading wheel spins forever, and the profiles never update. If you change tabs and come back, the loading circle is gone, however no profiles are listed on board. My deathadder pro v2 works flawlessly with onboard memory still.

Hey, I'm also having the same issues as everyone else here. I've only been using this mouse for 3 days and I only noticed these issues after I updated the firmware. I also have 2 other issues that I'm convinced are related.

1. If I have Razer Synapse open for a while at some point I won't be able to click on certain things like the taskbar or task manager or services. If I close synapse or restart it works fine for some time but happens again eventually. This also happens if I leave synapse closed for a while and can be temporarily fixed be opening synapse. My old mouse works fine so this can't be my pc acting up.

2. Side buttons 7,8, and 9 don't work anymore. Initially I thought this could be a hardware issue but I noticed that when I restart my pc without razer synapse starting button 8 registers as being held until razer synapse is started and then returns to being unresponsive.

Hopefully this gets resolved at some point.

Macros work good for me, even with @ (shift+2).

Last reply I’ve gotten was a few days ago and the support told me, I am supposed to wait until they update the software/ give me an update on the whole case. I sent them many logs so now, we can only hope for them to try to fix the issue with their next synapse version but… well, this has been an issue for many users for over a year already. I am patient but I might just return the mouse as I bought it mid january 2023. Buying a mouse for 200 euro and the main feature doesn’t even work lol...

They have told me again that they cannot replicate the error and that if I want another product, please do not accept the change if you can and so that they really do the right thing and work on an update with the correct department.

Macros work good for me, even with @ (shift+2).

Does the macro work when you close synapse?

I guess my main question at this point is if this happens on all Naga V2 Pro or if we have all just received lemons. I could see where not everyone would be reporting this problem because my programmed buttons work when I’m using synapse, but just can’t save the profile on the onboard memory which is what I need in my use-case. 
 

I would still think even more people would be making mention of this though, if it was just in the Synapse side, but that’s just speculation.

 

Since they cannot replicate the issue, that also potentially suggests it could be a faulty mouse right? Has anyone received an RMA to actually exchange one of these mice?
