I tried three different computers. Windows 7, 8.1 and Windows 10.
What should I do to fix Razer programmers errors?

I'm having the same issue. The Nari mic on my first headset was not working. So I returned it to Amazon for another headset. The second headset's mic worked fine for one day. On the second day, the mic stopped working exactly like the first headset I purchased. Now I've contacted Razer support on this issue. Razer support is telling me my second headset is also defective! What is the probability two brand new headsets would be defective in the same way? Razer it's your software!

Here is my case number: 02652962, the Razer support employee wanted me to send the headset back for another headset, but I'm not going to do that and here is why. I first bought a brand new Nari from Amazon. The mic on this unit worked for one day then stopped working. I returned this headset to Amazon for another brand new Nari thinking the first was defected. My replacement Nari worked for one day, then the mic stopped. The details were shared with the Razer Support employee. The Razer support employee told me the second headset must have also been defective. Come on Razer, two brand new headsets, both with the identical problem? And a third new headset will be fine? I think not. Here is my predication, I'll waste my time and money on printing shipping labels and going to the post office only to find the third headset doing the exact same thing. Then more time and money deciding what to do next. It's a headset guys, no reason it shouldn't work out of the box. The issue plaguing this mic is a software glitch not a hardware problem.
I've got this noted. We're currently reviewing all the info on your case. I sent you guys a message please check your inbox.

I can say for sure it;s not a hardwere or your pc issue but the synapse 3 😛 A lot of people have this issue and in the short i think the communication synapse and windows have some kind problem. I think synapse not always enable mic or it show it's enable but it isint 😛 The best way to cheack it is going to windows capture sound menager and open the second windows with synapse nable mic in synapse and it's not showing any live in windows capture window but when you force synapse 3 to enable mic the best way is messing with the mic settings mic start to work.
I noticed an update went out for Synapse but it still didn't fix the issue. Any progress on this????

Love the feel of the headset but going to have to return if the mic is not usable.
Razer, this is ridiculous. Nearly every single unit you have sold of this Razer Nari is having this issue.

I have had my Razer Nari for one day before the microphone stopped working. You need to fix this, as in its current state you are knowingly selling faulty products. There are dozens and dozens of posts on Reddit with people having identical issues.

This is ridiculous. I expect a response, or I will be going to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission and making a formal complaint for knowingly being sold a faulty product.

Once yours faithfully,
Matthew
I'm currently facing the same problem. For me the mic isn't working over the USB-dongle at all out of the box. I've contacted the razer support previously and walked through all 1st/2nd line support recorded steps (those such as have you tried put it off and on again). End result; they tell me the device is faulty and should be returned. Device no. 2 now, exactly the same problem. I've tried to connect the headset through the 3.5mm jack, voilà! it's working. Disconnecting the headset again from the 3.5mm jack and reconnection it through the wireless dongle.. Nothing.. I've deinstalled/reinstalled Synapse 3, without positive result. I've tried to remove everything of synapse from my computer, nothing. I've tried on a computer with a fresh win10 installation, nothing. Tried it on a laptop, nothing.. Come on Razer... Or the bundled dongles for the Nari headset are faulty (kinda strange because the audio is working perfectly) or something else is going on.. But Razer is gonna loose a lot of customers because of their lack of support and wacky beta software.:mad_:
i have same problem. had it for 2 days now mic is not working. how can u be selling a product that has a know problem. there are no fixs apart from being sent back to where u got it, or razer, at our own expense when we have already layed out money for a "high" end product.

Like i write here and other few topics on this forum this is not a harwere issue but softwere in this case synapse 3. You can replace headset like few opeople on this forum but the effect will end the same.
