I have had this headset for at least 2 years, It's worked fantastically the entire time right up until a few days ago when it stopped connecting. headset works fine with the cable connection, I've tried to use the various utilities to fix it and none them of worked so i went to look for a new dongle online and could find nothing, then i saw other posts of people with the same problem. Can anyone help with solving this issue.

Hi guys,

Please PM me the serial number of your headset so I can validate its model and check our options for sending you a replacement dongle. Thank you!

To all the other frustrated users, after several back and forth messages with support the best they can do is direct me to https://www.razer.com/shop/replacement-parts/replacement-parts-audio and to keep check back there if it ever shows up.  Here was my response.

Sigh. So, I had already checked that before posting my frustration. I think we probably all have. If all you were going to do is direct me to that link then why bother with my serial number and Amazon receipt? Normal companies would have the dongle on the page with maybe an "out of stock" notice and a "click here if you'd like to be notified when it's back in stock" button. At least then we'd know it's an option. Since it's not there or on Amazon and there's absolutely zero hint that it's even an option to get a replacement, leaving frustrated messages in your forums is about all that any of us are able to do, other than write nasty reviews for you until this seemingly simple and common problem is addressed.

My Nari Ultimate dongle also stopped working recently. After a certain synapse update, the dongle stopped working. Tried the dongle recovery and pairing tools but none worked. My Nari Ultimate's already 1 year old and still working fantastically until recently. Hopefully Razer would notice this thread and take action.

Hey guys, this happened to me too. Support wants to have useless correspondence in PM and not solve the problem. Although the solution is already found, it is a NEW DONGLE, for example on aliexpress it costs something around 40$. I've been reading a lot of posts in different threads for the last week and this is what comes out. Almost all headphones work well for about 2 years and suddenly die. It's very similar to programmed death. What I suggest, get together somewhere in discord and think about a collective lawsuit.

Still awaiting a Response.

it looks like a collective problem that is growing stronger. logitech transmitters are several years old and nothing happens to them. maybe a class action lawsuit? the European Parliament will be interested in this

hello. My dongle also broke 2 weeks ago, and I had to look at the comments here, and I saw that there was nothing else to do. As I saw the aliexpress post selling the dongle, I took a risk and bought the dongle for the Razer Nari Ultimate. It arrived today, and I went through exactly the process Razer says to pair the new dongle. And yes it is working and everything is ok again! I'll leave the dongle link where I bought it! Hope to help.

Hey guys got another case with me. In November il will be  two years of ownership but I'm not there yet and Razer says this headset is no longer warrantied. I ran the dongle pairing tool and I get multiple disconnects from the dongle mid update. Clearly a software update ruined the dongle and they don't want to do anything to replace it. This is ridiculous!!!

Here user from Argentina.

In my country, there is not even a support service where to get some help

My Razer Nari Ultimate had bought on 2021 and worked perfectly until 6 months back when I started using 3.5mm connector as the dongle disconnects and reconnect repeatedly. Identical to some other comment in this blogpost.

As couldn’t get a new dongle or even a third-party support service probably I won’t buy Razer sh*ts again. Take it into your dark and wet *ss Razer.

Same identical issue here - the dongle quit working, none of the advised repairs work, and I cannot find a replacement. It was such a great headset too. It’s really disappointing and it feels like planned obsolescence.

After scrounging the forums for a few months about this issues, constantly checking for a replacement part.

I’m starting to feel more and more that Razer released a corrupt file with one of their synapse updates that fried the Dongles.
Is this their way of forcing us to buy the next “super expensive headset” ? Kinda starting to feel that way, seeing how this is such an easy fix, and they have done nothing about it, nor have i really seen them comment on anyones posts about the issue. It’s just all us consumers stuck with the bad end of the stick.

If any coders or anything want to look into it and see if they botch an update somewhere, or if it was on purpose, that kind of sounds like a class action lawsuit if they are forcing obsoletion

Hey folks, I’ve been dealing with the same problem for months now. This is definitely some lawsuit level stuff that has to be addressed. Are there any youtubers here that can blow this up?

I have same problem.... nowhere can buy the replacement dongel   (user from Taiwan

Same issue here after more or less 2 years of use… tried recovery tools but now PC doesn’t even recognize the dongle… this is no cheap headset :(

Anyone has found a solution for this? Super frustrating

Same thing here after working just fine for over two years Headset now disconnects/reconnects repeatedly.

Must be the dongle since sound works fine when connected via 3.5mm.

Tried recovery and update software neither had any effect.

Support won’t get back to me I am furious several hundred dollar headset and they ship with the cheapest dongle they can make this will probably be the last time I buy a razer product.

All the support pages are telling me to go order a part that doesn’t even exist on their website what the eff razer.

I like this headset so much this is the second pair I’ve owned; based on the lack of support I think there will not be a third.

Hello everyone. the problem is a bad soldering spot. had the same. disassemble the usb. and put the mainboard only into the preheated oven at 230°c for 5 minutes

i have the benefit of being a pcb engineer so i have the knowledge and tools. if you have an temperature adjustable hot air gun use that. 5 minutes and 230° on slow air. not fast otherwise you´ll blow away the electronics.

for disassembling you need a cutter and cut open on the sides where it has been glued. remove the little cap and pull the plastic out where the mainboard is seated.

maybe ill create a youtube video on this

It’s easier to open a BBB case on it because they might just help everyone else when they get enough push

Same problem here, and I couldn’t find the dongle replacement. I would recommend avoid purchasing Razer products in the future, since they have started using cheapest materials for their products.

Terrible service dont have replacement for a 150 headset my dongle die today, i always used razer but now, no more….

Mine just stopped working and I have only had it for 5 months

Did anyone else ever get it fixed?

Hello @Razer.Zionzedd  do you think that considering the amplor of the issue and the number of people impacted and looking forward to getting a new dongle and the only available ones are scalpers on Alibaba it would be interesting to get some reaction from Razer ? Other than wait and pray and hope we refill the stock on the website ? (Which, unless there is a comitment to it is unlikely as the Nari Ultimate is discontinued).

Thanks a lot !

just had the same problem, its driving me insane that so many of us have this problem and no real support or replacement parts!

my headset wont work anymore please help me, i have paid a lot for this and it does not start anymore (i updated everything to make sure it is not because of outdated apps)

Also had the same issue as above. I don't really understand how this is considered an okay business practice? A £150+ headset with such a fragile and common problem with no ability to repair seems extraordinary and I dare say against trading standards?
