Question

Razer Synapse 4 false low battery notifcation

BatmanAlexeh

Every time I l startup my PC, it says my Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Headset is low battery which it isn’t at all.

It seems to go away on it’s own or when I relaunch Synapse 4, but it just gets annoying when that pops up every startup when it’s false.

Anyone else get this? any fixes to get rid of this? Thanks.

May be a bug in Syanpse itself.

You can submit a ticket by clicking on your RazerID profile icon in Razer Synapse software and selecting “Feedback” option:

Just bought a Naga v2 Hyperspeed and had to update to synapse 4 and get this alert all the time yet check the UI and it says its at 94%…...

I have the same issue.

Today Synapse reminded me several times that my Viper V3 Pro has “low battery” besides being way over 70%

Same issue here after adding new Naga V2 pro.

Battery is currently at 98% and it’s showing the notification at random time intervals.

I didn’t have this popping up with my Naga pro regardless of battery %

Same here. When I boot my PC (Windows 11 24H2), Synapse (last updated on 13.12.24) constantly shows a flickering "Battery Low" notification for my Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, even though the battery is full. Additionally, the headset keeps connecting and disconnecting from Synapse repeatedly during this (Sound does not cut off, but you can’t change settings etc).. Very frustrating. Please fix this.

Only Razer things to have bugs like this still existing for over 3 months since the initial report.💀

So my issue has been pretty much fixed now.

I did a full uninstall (revo uninstaller) of synapse 3 and installed synapse 4 directly from the razer site.
After this I was still getting the battery warning every few minutes, most annoying part was it was swapping profiles when in game because of this.

I opened a ticket with razer and they suggested resetting the mouse which I had already done.
They then provided me with a razer login and then I imported my profile.

After that I had 1 battery warning when I booted up but had 2 full days with no random notifications.
I then reset again and logged back in with my profile.

Since then I’ve only had 1 errant battery notification popup in the past few days.

So try doing a reset on your device and see how it goes, so far so good for me.

Have been experiencing the same issue with Synapse 4. Never had this problem before. Tried resetting the mouse right now and see what happens.

I’m getting this same issue on my brand new Viper V3 Pro that I’ve had for less than a week. After 4 months of this post being up, should be fixed already

Been getting these fake low battery notifications all the time on my Viper Mini Signature Edition and it is super obnoxious af - Razer get your act together.

I keep getting the same low battery alert popping up at the bottom left of my screen, with a fully charged Basilisk V3 Pro 35k mouse, and its only 2 weeks old.

same problem here, if you look in the devices tab you will see that headphone is stuck in “detecting device”

This keeps happening to me too :( I get a pop up saying it has low battery and it’s 94% lol

I actually don’t have this issue anymore. My Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 hinges broke after six months, typical Razer products, so I returned it and got a new one. Since then, I haven’t had the issue, so I’m honestly not sure what the cause could be. Possibly a hardware fault, but I can’t say for sure.

Razer really needs to look into this though, I had no idea so many people were dealing with the same problem. They’re honestly not the best when it comes to headsets. I’ve been loyal to Razer for years, but next time I think I’ll get a proper microphone and a good pair of high-quality headphones from elsewhere.

For anyone still having issues, for what it’s worth, since my last update I’ve only had a random incorrect battery warning maybe once a week (if that).

So might be worth trying to create a new profile and login and then reset again and re login to your main profile and see if that works.

I have a Razer Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed and I always get a low battery notification when the mouse wakes from sleep using Synapse 4.  Any way to stop that?

As stupid as it sounds, try the profile trick.
Before trying that I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but it was still happening.

Sine my last reply I’ve not  had a single errant battery notification, so I think there is something in the profiles that it causing this behavior which switching to a new profile and back again gets fixed, NFI how.

If it doesn’t work with a new profile you create directly, contact razer and ask for their profile.
I tried it straight from theirs but I’m assuming creating a fresh profile should have the same effect.

Either way, it’s something that razer need to figure out and address as it’s farking annoying buying a new expensive mouse and have issues like this right out of the box.

I'm having the same issue with my BlackShark v2 Pro on Synapse 4, i didn't notice this issue on Synapse 3. My framework is updated to the latest version. I tried uninstalling all Razer drivers with the Razer tool and reinstalled synapse 4 but no luck. Next I'm going to try to let my battery hit 0% to recalibrate it.

I’m also have this problem very SERIOUSLY -- RAZER WHERE ARE YOU TO FIX THIS!!

And don’t tell me to create new profiles… fix this issue!  😡

This is why I’m done buying Razer products tbh. I googled this because I’m sick of seeing it pop up. And here we are, the issue is 5 months old lmao. I can’t fathom what an easy fix it would be if someone actually cared to fix it. But this only affects people who already spent the extremely high price for these products.

There’s no excuse to see this still being an issue even after 2 weeks. 5 months though?

This is insane!!! It’s like a virus honestly, it overlays every single app, you have to restart your computer before it goes away. Very close to totally ditching Razer products, unbelievable!!! I expected so much better.

I’m experiencing the same issue with my DeathStalker V2 Pro. Has been doing this for at least a couple of months now.

I would highly recommend setting up a shortcut that can fully terminate Synapse from running for when it start to behave weird (after a couple of hibernations for me). See below the shortcut I use:

C:\Windows\System32\taskkill.exe /F /IM RazerAppEngine.exe

Not ideal, but certainly a lot faster than restarting!
