so i purhased a 2020 blade 15 base with the 2070 max q 4k oled 60hz on nov 6 2021, 2 days after i received the laptop in the mail whenever the fans kick on at low rpm is makes this almost scratchin/grinding noise like as if you were trying to get a record to play. Anyone have a fix or know what is going on or should i just return this thing and get the new M1 mac, always been a fan of razer products and windows OS but the new M1 macs battery life alone is making me hard consider a switch up and try out the new macs love everything about my blade so far except the fan problem and absolute horrible battery life have since reduced max cpu power to 60% but i almost feel as if forcing the computer to compute slower to compensate for having roughly 60% increse in battery life just isnt worth it as it is very noticble the lack of power doing so. Thoughts?
I have a razer blade 15 and the fans recently began almost grinding despite being clean of dust. They are extremely loud and vibrate my entire laptop. Did you find a fix? This is a major problem and there isn't much info on how to deal with it..
ya so i didnt find a fix for this and razer support was no help told me to 1) turn it off and on 2) update everything including bios, as if a bios update will make the fans shut up and then 3) send it in to be looked at thankfully i was fortunate enough to still be within the return time frame, returned it and got myself the new Macbook pro 14" with the M1 pro chip and havent thought about a razer since, always been a windows person personally and have actually had a macbook air in the past but after taking the time to learn the macbooks, i will possibly never buy a windows laptop again desktops for sure will always be a windows OS but the Mac laptops are far far ahead of there time as of now
