Is there a way to control, or at least deactivate, the RGB keyboard lighting on Razer laptops (specifically Razer Blade 15 - mid-2021) without using the Synapse software?

I recently had to fully reinstall the OS on my Razer Blade 15 after the original NVME drive failed (15 months after purchase). I have not yet installed Synapse, and would prefer not to if it can be avoided. The only thing I would use it for is to deactivate the RGB lighting on the keyboard, which apparently defaults on.
