I am having the same issue.
Would need this to be changed ASAP, especially because now I am working from home!

Hey there! Thanks for sharing your laptop's concern on this thread. I felt the urgency. Please send me screenshots of the following:

a. System Information ( Press Windows Key+R on your keyboard. Inside the Run dialog box, type “msinfo32.exe”)

b. BIOS main tab

How to enter the BIOS setup on a Windows 10 PC:

1. Navigate to settings. You can get there by clicking the gear icon on the Start menu.
2. Select Update & security.
3. Select Recovery from the left menu.
4. Click Restart Now under Advanced startup. The computer will reboot to a special menu.
5. Click Troubleshoot.
6. Click Advanced options.
7. Select UEFI Firmware Settings. If you don't see this icon, then press Startup Settings, instead. When your PC is restarting, tap F1 (or F2) to access the BIOS.
8. Click Restart.
9. Your system will restart and take you to the BIOS window.

Save the files via Google Drive or Dropbox then paste the link through PM. I'll pick it up from there.
hi i have the same problem, my webcam could not be located and it is not working

Thanks for notifying me. I've replied to your PM. I'll wait for your follow-up.

Like all the other posts on this feed, my Razer 15 Advanced 2018 laptop camera is disabled. It does not show up anywhere on the Device Manager, I get this error code from Windows "0xA00F4244<NocamerasAreAttached".

This a real problem trying to work remotely. Is this driver problem? How do I fix this issue?
Sympathy. Time to buy a USB Webcam, I guess.
At the moment I think it would be the quickest, since I see that the solution will not be immediate.
I am desperate to resolve no camera found in device manage and no mic. rz09-02386. Faced with teaching senior students from home means a solution is imperative. Have already contacted support chat and as result updated windows, all drivers, firmware, bios...but still having the same issues except now with bios at v1.08, my laptop gets really hot. C'mon razor, we need a solution that works. Do I really have to go and buy an external mic and webcam for my laptop which has these features built-in????

Hi PJHerman! Thanks for sharing your Razer Blade 15's concern on this thread! Our support team is currently investigating the laptop's odd behavior. I can provide a suggestion to isolate/resolve the issue.

Hey everyone! Please check the following:

a. The camera driver is not present in any category on Device Manager after updating the laptop from Windows and Razer Synapse updates.
c. The issue has been replicated after putting the laptop on Safe Mode or by creating another local Windows user account.
d. The issue persists after reverting the laptop's operating system to its factory state.

If the list above sufficed your situation, please contact our Support Team or send me a PM so I can create a case number and escalate the laptop's concern.

I have:
- checked and the camera is not anywhere in device manager.
- the issue is the same in safe mode.
- created a new local account and have the same problem.
I have backed up the laptop and will do a complete restore to factory settings. Lots of programs to reload though so hours of work ahead.

I have also reset to factory defaults but still no camera and no mic working. I am desperate for help as I am online teaching.
I have the same issue please help
I agree... For a 1k+ laptop, Razer should have done a much better job with the reliability of their devices... We are paying premium so either do your job well or give us our money back!!! PLEASE FIX THIS SH*T... literally tried anything, this is not an isolated case, we all have this issue! Temperatures are higher, even with an external cooling pad, microphone gave up, camera not detected... what the f*ck Razer??

Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing all your observations after following the suggested steps that the Support team and I provided. I understand how inconvenient to have a laptop with a camera and a microphone that is not working. I am asking for everyone's patience regarding this concern. I've cascaded the Razer Blade 15's concern to the team and waiting for an update. Please help me gather details from your laptop so I can send a report and help the investigation. Send me the following:

a. Screenshot/Photo of device Manager showing the missing camera driver. Please check the webcam driver under Imaging devices or Sound, video and game controllers too.

b. Screenshot/Photo of device manager for microphone under "Sound, video and game controllers" and Sound properties in the system tray.

c. Photo of BIOS main tab

d. Screenshot of System Information (Press Windows Key+R on your keyboard. Inside the Run dialog box, type “msinfo32.exe”)

e. Screenshot of your Windows Update history

f. Razer Synapse version:

g. Have you performed Windows System Restore or Razer Blade's factory reset? (Yes or No):

Note:

Please save the files in your Google Drive or another online drive account then send the link via PM. I'll pick it up from there.
Got the same Issue. Checked everything and still cant fix

Did you set a dual boot in your Razer Blade 15? Please refer to my post above and send me a PM.

No dual boot - I'm booting just Linux. But I have the windows system backup somewhere..

I will send you the equivalents in linux for a-d, but I will not give you e and f as no windows here..
I also need help with my camera (same issues): it starts with flickering of the camera when it wasn't plugged in, now it doesn't detect the camera/webcam at all.
I have also updated my bios to no avail.
Purchased this in April 15, 2019, please help fix ...

Hey there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Please send me a PM together with your laptop's serial number. Let's continue from there.
Hi, has anyone found that reinstalling windows has made any difference? I don't want to do this as my laptop is critical to my working from home at the moment i do not want to risk anything.

It's starting to sound more and more like hardware compatibility issues. Unless anyone has had a fix from the above or PM'd advice...
Hi, i have the same problem 😕 I get the NoCamerasAreAttached error in Camera applicatioan and cannot find any camera in device manager in windows 10. Newest drivers, BIOS.
Razer Blade advanced 2018. Same webcam problem.
I tried to install all last drivers on razer support section for blade15 with gtx 1070, also updated with 1.08 firmware, no way to have the wecam in device manager of win 10
I have the same issue as everyone else on this thread, anyone find a fix?
Rn if I open camera I get this error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached>
no camera is listed on the device manager

Hi there! Please PM me the serial number of your Blade. I'll take it from there.

Are you able to help me with my web cam error, I see no device in device manager, have loaded lattest bios and drivers but still nothing.
I do all steps mentioned on the PM , update the EC , try in safe mode and still nothing. I restore 1 week a go my laptop to factory settings and nothing.
Still the error 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> and no Microphone.
Seems this a massive Razer Issue.
