Why does profile keep coming back to default after exiting all apps? | Razer Insider

Is there a way to set a profile as default and keep it, even after exiting all apps? 

I mean, the profile that I customized it myself only shows up after I open the app(Razer Synapse), whenever I close the app(Exiting All Apps or Razer Synapse), profile comes back to its originals(I even deleted the default profile, I left only the one that I customized it myself).

I’m just confused, 
what am I doing wrong? does it work like that only?

I already updated the app.

My mouse is:
Razer Deathadder v2
Model no RZ01-0321 GAMING MOUSE.
20000 DPI.

no one to answer?


i set both chroma and profile, they keep resetting and they come back to their originals after I exit the app!!!


Check if your profile is properly assigned into onboard memory (it should be automatically, but worth to check or manually assign it): https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1893/~/how-to-create-mouse-profiles-in-razer-synapse-3 (look at point 7-8).

Be aware, that Chroma light settings will not be stored (except brightness settings).

No changes, it only changes the color that I have set on the back of the mouse, the scroll and the logo keep on coming back to its originals.


Then something is wrong with Razer Synapse.

You can try to clean-reinstall it:

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

But I’d also contact Razer Support and submit a new case: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/contact-support

bs… not working, and as you said, it just works for the brightness, that makes no sense...
please fix this.


I'm having trouble keeping a customized profile as the default in Razer Synapse. Every time I exit the app, it reverts to the original settings, even though I deleted the default profile. I’ve solved the problem by uninstalling and not re-installing again. Just arrange the desired profile when you have razer synapse. Make sure it copied the profile to onboard memory. Then simply uninstall. These steps solved the issue for me. I sometimes re-install synapse and try updates etc., and reinstall again.
