Hello

 

I want to use my keyboard to code, but My internet connection is behind a firewall controlled by the company, and we are many in this situation.
So can you please provide an offline installer like all the other top end keyboard provider are doing ?
Logitech provides it, and others too, you are the only one left behind, we are in 2023.

Even its its just to make it work with a local profile and macros without being connected online
We paid a very expensive keyboard, so we expect some service up to the reputation, and an internet connection should never be a prerequisite for a keyboard to work.

agreed, online installers are worthless, don’t even make them
at best you embed an update checker to see if it is the latest offline installer “just in case”
online installers are digital cancer, we need to ban them
if the code to actually do the install is not packed in the archive you just downloaded it should be made illegal to call it an installer, at that point you legally should be required to call it an “installer downloader” because it doesn’t do any installing, it downloads the thing that does the installing
please razer, your devices are good, but “online installers” need to be deleted as an option, plus it is cheaper as you don’t have to ensure high-reliability, you can embed a tiny flash chip into the composite device tree that contains a “bare minimum” driver and software to delete the cancer of “spectrum” (literally please add a memory chip so without software it never returns to that cancerous and ugly RGB puke that so many manufacturers seem to think is at all cool, or make it solid reactive green-white because that is thematic to your brand, delete spectrum as the default)
