Text Function last update !!

hello
I noticed when using the text function through the razer synapse app (last update) it would not type the sentence I input instantly but now instead it types each letter at a time, Just wanted to know if there is a way to fully fix this as I use the feature a lot.


Because now it takes a long time to write a long sentence !!
shortcut take more time than copy and paste!!

can you fix it ?

We should be given the option of input method as users within Synapse so we can customize the keyboard to our exact needs.
So, the newest update fixed the text function for me, but it's still pasting full words versus individual keys at a time, which prevents several pre-mapped shortcuts from occurring.

So instead of just typing a key like c it actualy copy and pastes whatever key you select so you CANNOT use it as shortcuts in Premiere pro or anything like that PLEASE FIX!!!!

Btw just realized that there is a separate keyboard function that does exactly what I want and know I feel like an idiot.

I'm having the same issue and have been for quite some time racking my brain trying to figure it out with Razer support. Everything was working great until the update because I use TextExpander to expand the text function & I needed the input by key for that to work. Now, I'm having the same issues as you all. Inconsistent pasting. Pasting what I had ctrl+c'ed instead of the text function, and not working within any Microsoft app.

I'm really considering downgrading if I can get my hands on the older Synapse that worked for me. I was crushing it at work with the mapped keys. 😞

Last update only partially fixed this issue for me.

Specifically the text function works everywhere other than in windows command prompt. When trying to use it command prompt, it doesn't paste the text but rather the ctrl+v function itself.

For example if I have "Test" as a text function assigned to a key or button on any of my razer devices, pressing the key in command prompt does not input "Test" and instead inputs "^V".

Odd, I got the update last night. I'm not sure if it was a minor or major fix, but whatever it was, it fixed the problem.

Odd, I got the update last night. I'm not sure if it was a minor or major fix, but whatever it was, it fixed the problem.

Unfortunately, the problem persists. The text does not stick, but I write myself word for word.

I dealt with the problem in an unusual way.

I am using the PhaseExpress program in which I gave shortcuts to the text pasted there, e.g. Ctrl + NUM1 and added a key function to Razer Synapse
Ctrl + NUM1 via KeyRecording.


I must admit that I am still waiting for the problem to be solved because I would prefer to use the mouse function normally.
We continue with the same problem. When a solution?

Your feedback is well taken. Our Support Team/devs is still working on the issue. I appreciate everyone's understanding on this matter.
I was told the same thing directly so yeah, seems it's getting fixed.

Good news, I heard back and I believe they have isolated the problem. Sadly, there is no estimated time for the update/patch. But, it is in the works. Just hold tight. :)

Same issue. Had complete uninstall of both Razer and Cortex and reinstall, with same results. Slowly types out each keystroke instead of instant cut and paste.
Definitely need definitive fix ASAP. Much appreciated. DP

No solution has been given to me I'm afraid. Clean windows installation might be one way to fix it but haven't tried that yet.
