Asrock z690 Razer edition not present anymore in Synapse 3 | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi,

The Asrock z690 Razer edition motherboard is no longer showing in Synapse 3, making it unable to make it work with my other 16 installed razer products…

I have updated the bios, removed the RGB file and reinstalled the latest from the Asrock website but to no avail.

I'm not sure what to do about it to make Synapse pick it up, can i force detection somehow???

The new Synapse software i have given a try a few months back but does not support any motherboard yet, asking myself if they will be added soon, or that the Asrock Razer motherboard line gets skipped.

Thanks!

It was the update*. Logged on and said update available.all fixed

Yeah it was an update. First thing that popped up on my PC when I turned on.

Well, now my MB has it's RGB back again. Still not sure how the windows update caused the error to occur in the first place.

Update.

My z690  detect in the Synapse today witout any update. (or auto update i’m not sure.)

Anyone else?

It worked on my b550 too.

Hello,

The same thing has happened to me, I think that since yesterday or so, the board has reconnected.

I think there has been an automatic windows update?
thanks

Mine works now too with the Synapse update.  X570.

Is there anyone who uses Synapse 4? I want to know if it uses mainboard detect or not.

At the moment it wont show on Synapse 4 at all for me.

I have the B550 and it is not recognized by Synapse 4. Seems that it is not supported (yet).  :-(

If your ASRock Z690 Razer Edition motherboard is not appearing in Razer Synapse 3, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Update Razer Synapse: Make sure you have the latest version of Razer Synapse 3 installed. Sometimes, updates can fix compatibility issues.

  2. Check Motherboard Drivers: Ensure that all relevant drivers for your motherboard are up to date. Visit the ASRock support site to download the latest drivers.

  3. Reinstall Razer Synapse: If the issue persists, try uninstalling and then reinstalling Razer Synapse 3 to refresh its connections and settings.

  4. USB Connections: Ensure that any USB devices connected to your motherboard (like Razer peripherals) are properly connected. Sometimes, issues with USB devices can affect Synapse recognition.

  5. BIOS Update: Check if there’s a BIOS update available for your motherboard. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.
