Hey there,
I am trying to set a macro so that it will trigger when I press a certain button down without removing my finger from the button, and then another one that will be triggered when I let go of the same key.
My guess is the macro will have to split up into a 'KeyPress' macro and a 'KeyRelease' macro.

Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve:
[left]When the button 'E' is pressed down [::::> The button L is pressed down and released, then when I let go of the button 'E' [::::> The button L is pressed down and released again.
During the time that the key 'E' will be pressed, I will be doing something with my mouse.
Just a quick side note: the time between the pressing and releasing the 'E' key may vary.

Thanks,
-P

not sure about "holding exactly", but I personally have 2 macros-one is a 10-sec hold, and the other is 0.01 sec hold. I simply used the "toggle on key press" option. Maybe will work for you
